I think overall I prefer silicone. Glass and other hard materials are definitely pleasurable to me, though. It's just that I think I can be in the mood NOT to use something hard, where I don't picture myself not being in the mood for something a little squishy.

Answering for what I believe my SO prefers...glass. She likes the smoothness and and the small amount of lube (if any) that is required. One post mentioned prefering a dildo to a vibe, but there is a glass vibe in here that I reviewed that is pretty good!

Glass is excellent for its rigidity, but sometimes the give of silicone is preferable (on especially sensitive days, in particular) so it's a very difficult decision to make. My solution: buy equal quantities of glass and silicone toys. Problem solved!

I love glass. Silicone seems to have a bunch of downsides for me, like needing lube, attraction to lint, more difficult to take care of, etc. I like my silicone dildos, but I don't use them nearly as often.
