I get that it was supposed to be "suspenseful" ; or whatever but if you look it was written that " I will be unveiling this 'Big Fun' officially next Friday. So please keep your eyes on the forum next week for the official announcement." I would have liked to not have been checking this thread every hour to see if the "big event" had been announced if I could have checked my email ANYTIME THIS WEEKEND. Since it said to check the forums I thought maybe they were having a party, giveaway, or something else that was only going to last tonight. I also find it pretty funny that they can send a mass email to everyone about a one day event but they didn't do that for a big change in the points program (a big reason many of us come here)and when this change happened the Accouncement for upcoming changes was no where to be found and I even had to be linked to it to see it because sexis article announcements were obviously more important than changes to a site.
And yeah sorry I'm not so happy go lucky about more than half of the points being taken away. I'm a firm believer in punishing people that do something wrong and not the whole group. If they wanted to stop so much spam they wouldn't give so much for posing in forums or at least have a min character thing fixed into comments. Them changing the point system was less about spammers and more about getting rid of points that don't serve a purpose in advertising eden or keeping alive parts of the site that they like. (reviews, forums)
No one is making you read my posts, if you don't like them then just move on but I have a right to way what I think as long as it isn't attacking a particular person. less

I understand that you're upset about points being taken away. A lot of people are bummed about that.
The thing is... Eden doesn't even have to offer points. Most websites DO NOT offer points. We should be grateful that EF offers any points at all.
I also don't quite understand why you're surprised that EF did away with points for things that didn't help advertise or keep their site alive. This is a business, after all, and that's kind of their goal, isn't i? Saying alive, and advertising, I mean...
