Extended, definitely. The word limit for standard is much too small.

I second that.

Extended. I find that it makes it easier for me to write, there's a higher word limit, and unless there are bolded headers I usually will skip over reading a standard review when an extended is there (unless it's on lingerie or something.) I want to find the information I want without having to scour the information I already know!

I like having more room and freedom to write my reviews, so lately I've started doing off-site reviews on my own blog.

I'm probably in the minority here but I prefer the standard, though I haven't yet done an extended format review. I haven't felt compelled to try the extended format, maybe because I feel a bit restricted by it.
I like being able to write what I want and let it flow as I determine. The extended format might actually be a little easier than standard because it basically prompts you and reminds you of the information you should be including. It's kind of like answering questions. Whereas, the standard format gives you full creative control over what to say, how to say it and where it is said. I like that freedom.
I'll probably do an extended format review eventually but I see myself sticking with the standard most often, unless or until EF discontinues the standard format.

Extended really helps me organize my thoughts.

I like the extended, the sections help make sure that all the important parts get included.

I like extended, unless it's a small product like lip balm or lube.
04/05/2013
Sometimes I prefer breaking up my review into my own sections, but extended keeps me on my toes.

it depends on what I am writing about. If it's something I love and can put detail in, I prefer extended. If it's something that i just want to get my point across, I want to do standard and get it done

Extended--I get distracted too easily and need the structure for my focus.

It depends on what kind of item I am reviewing.

I need all the information I can get before I buy a new toy.

I use Extended for certain items usually mostly toys. For lingerie I tend to use Standard and sometimes with that we don't have the option to pick Extended.

Extended

I prefer extended for myself and enjoy reading either type.

I prefer doing the standard. I don't feel like I should write huge paragraphs of descriptions on how the toy works or what it looks like... or what it comes in.. When I read reviews, I want to read just the experience.. That's all that matters to me..

I meant to vote for standard.
04/06/2013
I prefer extended because it allows you to give more in depth review of the product.
04/06/2013
I don't really care, I actually really like standard ones though. I feel like a quick in-depth review will grab my attention more if its done well .

I like the extended version better.

Extended for sure, the word limit is just too small for my ramblings. Also, I know I will forget some important stuff if I use the standard. I prefer the structure!

Extended for me. The word limit is too low for me in the standard format, and I really like having the categories that the extended format has.

Extended, it helps me remember to include any detail other's might be looking for. Standard is too generic and open, easy to forget specific information that might be useful to newbies. I keep an Extended format saved to my hard drive when I have to use a standard one to make sure I don't forget anything.
