I like a useful amount of medium or small pictures, if they are really small, I'd like links to larger versions.
Pictures in a review, more or less, bigger or smaller?

I have not done any pictures in my reviews (so far), but I've found them to generally be helpful in the reviews that I've read that have them. A few medium ones are about all that is needed unless you are getting into a serious in depth comparison of things.

Pictures help me describe something better. I'm more visual than I am verbal. here's an example of one of my reviews with pictures I tend to be on the medium side when it comes to picture sizes. I take the photos with my phone and being that is 8MP, the original filesize is HUUUUUUUGE.

There were too many pictures - many duplicates. The content of the review was very good.

Put me in for the more, the better! I love seeing lots of pictures before I buy something.

i almost always vote reviews that include pictures higher (if the review is great and the picture have purpose). i think in general it helps the review feel fuller so when people can take pictures and do, i appreciate it!

I find pictures in a review to be helpful for most items, if they are shot well and creatively done. A simple shot of the product packaging or toy itself may not be very informative, but a shot taken with other common items nearby are helpful for judging size. I also like seeing user-made clothing pics, because I am usually wary of the photoshopped nature of most model photos

Is there a way to thumbnail them as a clickable link also? That would be ideal. Sorry if this was already mentioned.
