I love the photos and if an item is popular then there is usually someone near my size that will give me an idea of how it will fit. As you said, you don't have to show your face if you don't want to. Also I just put a hand over my chest when wearing sheer lingerie but as others said you could definitely add something with a photo editor later.
Lingerie photos?

I have fallen victim to purchasing things that look amazing on a model but look awful in real life. I LOVE to see actual pictures! It helps to know how it forms to a non-perfect body. Most of us are not models and I like to know you don't have to be to wear something.

I think its nice to see pictures of a piece of lingerie or clothing I am interested in on a real person but it doesn't change the way I vote if pictures aren't in the review.

I think it's important to have photos because lingerie is so often misrepresented or shown only on super-skinny models who have been photoshopped.
I'd personally rather not show off my bits in my photos, because I'm not at the point where I feel comfortable being naked on the internet.

Yes, pictures are prefered.

Pictures are not needed. They can be nice, but you can also get an idea of what it looks like without it on a person.
I think photos should be allowed of everything, as long as they are tasteful and meant to be informative then showing nudity should be allowed. I mean EF is a sex toy shop. It is not like there are not toys that mimic every body part.

I love to see pics myself. Don't care if anything is covered, but not sure what the rules are.

I like photos in reviews. Even if we are not the same size it still gives me lots of info. There are some reviewers that I follow that I have purchased some of the same items and even though we wear different sizes I can get a pretty good guess of how it will fit on me by how it fits on them.

Not essential to me

I admit that I really love it when people post pictures, but a good descriptive section really will make up for no pictures if you're not comfortable, or don't want to.
Sometimes those advertisement pictures really look different from the actual product!

It's ur choice. I wouldn't because i am shy

I like the pictures so I can see the item on a real person. All the women who are brave enough here are beautiful and have looked great. I applaud and thank them.

I really like the pictures and I'm so impressed with peoples' bravery! It's especially great to see that there are Eden girls of every shape and size (and boys I assume, although I don't think I've seen one in a lingerie review yet... maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Note to self: check out "Men" section).
Even if the reviewer isn't shaped like me, it still gives me a better idea of what it will look like on a real person rather than the models they use in the item photos.
However, I don't think anyone's rating on a lingerie review should be affected if they don't choose to show photos of themselves. It's definitely not a requirement in my opinion.

yes, Yes, YES, add photos! Please.
Add them even if they are just photos of the garment only. As reviewer photos are much more realistic than the ones from the manufacturers (to me). But it's a big bonus to have your personal pics of the garment you received with you in them!

Good point about the men. Probably not many of those? I've been thinking of doing one myself. But I can see it's a lot work. Kudos to all you reviewers!

Plus I'm not sure if there is a large audience for reviews of the male products? Maybe I'm not looking in the right place either?? LOL

Photos in lingerie would be nice to see how it looks on a regular person, not a model. As for the see through, it helps to know how see through the piece is, wether you're wearing it or just holding it up in the light.
02/04/2013
It's helpful to see the fit of lingerie on actual people.

Pictures are always better and way more important for lingerie and clothing items then toys but we have so few reviews and pics for them.
If your not comfortable showing yourself as many aren't you can simply take product pictures of it by itself or possibly on a close friend who agrees to, or even a mannequin, dummy or dress form fitting thing if have those.

I personally find photos very helpful when I'm trying to decide what to get, since they tend to be more accurate as to what they'd look like in real life than the model photos. For example, some photos might not have the best light, but then again, neither are you going to be standing in a perfectly well lit room all of the time. This is true of just ones that aren't on a person.
I still find the ones of people wearing them to be very useful too because it's easier for me to imagine what it'd look like on me (even when the reviewer has a different body type).

Pictures are really helpful, but descriptive stuff helps too. =] As someone who's shy about taking pictures, I take plenty of measurements and make sketches instead my reviews.

Pictures are always so helpful and definitely appreciated!

I really like when people post pics of lingerie because even if they aren't the same body shape as me it helps to see how the fabric actually looks when its on a body. Sometimes I'm surprised how different a piece of lingerie looks on the packaging pics then in real life. I almost feel like a prude saying this but I don't think that vaginas (or penises) need to be displayed in pics on this site. Nipples are okay in my book but the nether regions are a bit gratuitous.
03/06/2013
I always appreciate pictures in lingerie reviews, so I make sure to include them in my own.
I know there aren't many people built like me, but I'd like to think there are at least a few who benefit from my pics.

I personally put up a picture of me in the lingerie for one of my reviews. I did it since it helps other people with sizing information. However, I did not show private parts since not everyone wants to see that.
03/13/2013
I don't see anything wrong with showing anything for a review. I don't see anything wrong with nudity in the first place, if I could, I would always be naked (as long as it was warm, and I wasn't freezing my bum off!). I say if you are reviewing a product, you should be able to give an accurate idea of what the product looks like, and if that means a little va jayjay, or nipple showing, then that's fine with me.
