I like to see the pictures. I guess it doesn't matter to me if the person blurs out their parts or not.
Lingerie photos?
07/23/2012
I really appreciate when people use photos in lingerie review, I always do myself. Some see through pieces I have reviewed led me to either cover up my nipples with my hands or photoshop them out. Sometimes you can see what the lingerie is really like better in reviewer photos than you can on the product page.

I like to see the pics to know what it looks like on a real person, especially someone who is about my proportions, but I would never downvote a review for not having them. They're just nice for comparison purposes.

I would say if you want include pics its defiantly a plus. I would also make sure nothing shows I wouldn't mind seeing it but I think that there is rules against nudity on here not totally sure.

Mainly just asking because I'm reviewing the Mesh Asymmetrical Babydoll and deciding if I want to add photos or not. less

If you have a blog and your images are on your blog; you don't have to worry about using modesty. However; if your images on on EF; they have to follow the guidelines of the images the lingerie company uses. So, no nipples, frontal nudity, and so on. You just have to open you photos is paint and put little stars over the area.
I prefer pics even if they are just laying on the floor. Because the color's are sometimes different or the garment looks completely different from the product page. I don't hold it against the reviewer if they don't.

I always appreciate them in reviews.

I love seeing photos of the lingerie on a real person. It gives me a better idea of what the product actually looks like on someone that isn't anorexic and photo shopped to death.

I like the pictures.

I like seeing a product in real life, and being draped across the bed isn't helpful. So pics on the person are very helpful. That said, I've never reviewed lingerie and am unsure if I'd be comfortable posting a pic of me in a thong. It's appreciated if you do it, but I don't blame you if you don't

We greatly appreciate the information and data shared by photos in reviews. Further, we deeply appreciate the effort and time people who make these photos and videos take in doing their reviews. Us buyers out here in EF land DO THANK YOU.

As for PHOTOS involving users..truth be told we enjoy seeing REAL people using toys or more important, dressed in Lingerie, since models tend to be incredibly "perfect" or air brushed or BOTH, and lighting, shadows, sizing, draping of garments tend to be done to optimize the look, where, when real people are modeling the outfit, you can see how it REALLY looks in the REAL world. FAR more valuable information.
As for "nudity". Most folks don't show their faces in these more revealing shots, and those who do are obviously comfortable in their own skin, no matter how they look, so BRAVO!!! We can appreciate them, thank them, and admire their bodies (which they must be proud to show, regardless of shape or age), and appreciate their contribution to the review, all at once.
SO...just do what YOU feel comfortable doing, but photos or not, nude or not, all reviews are REALLY, SINCERELY appreciated.

1. NO ONE has a perfect body. Without getting too detailed, let's say I see bodies at work, all day long. I SEE the imperfections we ALL have....EVERYONE, even the best airbrushed, hard body supermodel.

2.We WANT to see what how these items look on REAL woman (or men), rather then on a mannequin or with airbrushed perfection. It will FAR more indicate how it will look when we get it home and try it on.
3. SO...feel comfy doing these shots. Cover or blur what you must to feel totally comfortable, but know that your photos or video ARE a big help to other EF buyers and we THANK YOU!!!

You've got that right!!! I have always had curves. I have some nice features, I am told, but I too have a tummy, some hips, and TWIGGY I NEVER was!!!! It is incredibly hard to know how lingerie will look on when all you have seen is a photo of it draped on a size 0 thirteen year old model (many cloths models ARE children), with NO breasts and NO hips to speak of.

I love pictures in reviews. I personally make sure that I am covered in my own photos, but that's for my own comfort.
07/27/2012
Photos are always a good plus. I would also say I do prefer people staying at least a bit covered, but if you don't it's your choice. I know I'd be too prude to show myself like that, but it really is a matter of personnality.

Pictures are always very helpful, I like being able to see what it looks like on a real body instead of a mannequin or airbrushed model.

I prefer to see photos. I think that posing for photos and coverage should be up to the reviewer and what they are comfortable doing.
07/28/2012
I find them really helpful, but prefer covered for sure.

I think Bignuf really said it well. It's real people buying these items, just like you and me. Stock models aren't sitting at their computers ordering lingerie - it's a person just like you and just like me.
Hell, I just did two panty reviews with pictures, and I'm not a tiny little flower of a girl. Still... women my size or close will know what to expect before they order the product that I reviewed.

I am very embarrassed to show what I look like right now in lingerie, however I have a few pics of me in the lingerie so that other big beautiful ladies can see which curves it hugs and what is highlighted and what areas look smaller in which pieces. I also appreciate other curvy gals putting their pics up so that we can see what lingerie looks like on someone that has curves (big or small curves). Most of the pics for lingerie is with a tiny little been poll girl, I am not the biggest gal in the bunch but I got me some curves..I want to get a realistic look not a imaginary impression.

I lack the confidence to post a picture of myself sporting lingerie. I enjoy seeing how the lingerie fits via others pictures but since I don't have the guts to post them myself I do not judge others if they don't.
09/27/2012
I usually share photos, but they are not too revealing. I think it is very helpful to see the item on someone who is not a model, but I also understand that some women do not want to post photos.
