How do you decide which new reviews to read?

I go by title first, reviewer second, and product last.

Either products I want or am interested in, and who wrote the review. Some reviews are pretty bad and I don't read them.

I try and read a good many, but I'll start with products that I'm interested in possibly ordering, or already have. And also certain reviewers will draw me in also.

Cat E.
I'll read a review usually if it's for something I want.

I read review on things I am interested in.
I also read any review a few of my favorite contributors post.

i wish i had the time/attention span to read more - there are some very good writers here!

I read reviews for products I know I'm interested in.

I read reviews for specific things I'm interested in of course but also if the title of the review catches my eye or if I just might be interested in the product at some point. I read a lot of reviews.

A combination of a lot of the above. I read reviews based on the item it's on (if it looks interesting, or if it's something I already know I want), by how they rank the product (in relation to how others ranked it, for example if one item has a normal rating of four stars, but this has a two-star-review, I want to know what problem that person has with it). There are a few reviewers whose reviews I read any time they come up because I enjoy their reviews.

If I'm seriously considering a product, I read all the reviews for it. Sometimes I just skim out of curiosity and to compare how people write their reviews so as to get a better idea for when I write mine.

I read recent reviews, mostly. Sometimes I click through and read whatever I can find because it's how I've found products I wouldn't have seen otherwise.

I noticed my reviews of more, or I assume more, lusted after items seem to get more ... more

I noticed my reviews of more, or I assume more, lusted after items seem to get more comments and votes. Just wondering if people are picking based on things they want or what everyone's process is.
Tried to think of as many as possible, but comment for the elusive "other." less

I tend to read reviews for toys that catch my eye or toys that I personally am lusting after. I also like to read reviews for toys I've written reviews on, but only after I've written mine.

I read a lot of reviews, but I read the ones for products I want first.

I usually look on the new users review area as we try to grow as a community it is important that the new users develop as good writer so I try to comment in constructive ways that help them out, however if I already see that there are a lot of comments from people I trust I skip it and move on to the next review
