The thing I am looking at now is 10 under my price limit. But I been looking at the toy for a while anyways.

My question is...do you always get as close to your allowed dollar amount as possible when requesting free assignments? Or do you pick whatever strikes your fancy from among all items falling under your price limit? less

I actually just requested my first assignment a few days ago, but my rating jumped from the lowest to the next one up pretty fast. What I chose was a fair amount UNDER my limit, but it was ever so pretty.

I search within my limit and pick something that looks fun that I wouldn't typically pick out!
07/10/2012
Honestly, I don't pay much attention to my price limit, but I'm pretty sure most of the items I request are well below it anyway.

I search within my price limit and find something I like
08/06/2012
I haven't done any assignments, no free assignments here.
08/06/2012
We tend to look around the $20 or under limit but would go higher if it's something we really liked. We won't choose a higher-priced item just because we can.
08/07/2012
I just look under my price limit and try and get the best product I can

I just find what i want to review, whether it's my price of up to $75 or if it's 20 - 40. depends on what i want to get. I also do assigned video/text review, so i love it

As long as it looks appealing, I'm not concerned about my price limit.
08/16/2012
I actually just add stuff as I go. I never really pay attention to the price- though thinking on it I probably should.
Whoops.
Whoops.
08/16/2012
Im just now learning about this
09/11/2012
I haven't started reviewing yet but would personally pick what was inside my limit and that I thought I might actually like.

I start with filtering my preferences and go from there. price doesnt matter. I just have to have some interest in it!

I'm going with what appears to be the consensus, I take what ever strikes my fancy that I can get.

I have only gotten one assignment since I am new to the program, but I picked a $15 lube. I wasn't aiming to get close to my limit, I was just kinda like "I want to review a lubricant" and asked my mentor to request a few different ones.

I just pick something I really want in my price range.

I don't really care if the price is low. Just if I'm interested in the product.
01/05/2013
I pick whatever strikes my fancy at the time.
01/05/2013
I will pick anything within my $40 limit even though I selected : I will choose items as much as $11to $20 below my limit. There is so much to choose from and many which I already have. I have selected items for free review, but there is up to a month wait time so I review within my limit. Though I understand with administrator approval I could review other items as well at a higher price. Still for now, while still new to this I want to be sure I'm able to be informative about all products no matter the price that I review.
01/05/2013
I always go with something I know I would use, or have an interest in trying, rather than try to find something more expensive just because it's available. I don't think anything at the top of my price range has ever caught my eye.
02/09/2013
I choose whatever! Sometimes I'll go with what I feel I can best review, other times I'll strike out of my norm.
02/09/2013
I just check my product and material preferences and go through everything. If there's something I'm not interested in that is $50, but something I am that is $15, I'll get the $15 thing or wait a few days to see if something else comes up. However, if there are two things I really like and one is more expensive than the other, I will definitely choose the more expensive item as my assignment and request the cheaper one as a back up in case the other is already claimed.

i always try to get as close to the limit as possible. I can buy the cheaper stuff and get the more expensive stuff for free. I can get stuff up to 40 bucks.
