I find that the standard format leaves me looking for information that has been completely left out of the reviews. With the Extended format, it gives the writer "Oh, yeah, I need to write about that" cues.
Also, the "minimum" character lengths in the extended format result in reviews that are longer than three to four short sentences. I have seen far too many standard format reviews that all look about the same...
"I liked it. It was tight and didn't stretch much, use lube." They are slightly longer, but that is the gist of them. If something is supposed to stretch and doesn't do it "much", I want to know how much it actually stretched! If it smells "funny", what does it remind you of? Anywho, preaching to the choir at this point...
