Been a naturist for 29 years (since I met Phil), can't imagine why anyone would want to swim/sunbathe with a costume on!! An all over tan makes me feel sexy, nude beaches are usually populated with really nice people, even being topless is better than wearing a bikini.
Have visited a couple of naturist resorts, found them to be a bit "regimented", I prefer my nudity to be spontaneous. I find the idea of wandering around shops/bars naked a bit pointless.
And yes, we tried the swinging scene in Cap d'Agde!!

Far from the lecherous sexually driven or unappealing sight nude beaches or events can be actually very freeing and fun. I quite like them and participate as often as I can.
