Urine is sterile, it isn't unsafe. Some people may find it unsavory, but unless the man has a Urinary Tract Infection, it isn't unsafe.
As for the aforementioned valve that prevents urine from being released during an erection, that would be the biggest impetus to doing this. It's pretty difficult to get a soft penis to penetrate, but not impossible.

Oh, I also wanted to add, that a good amount of the time, the first squirt of semen does contain a certain amount of urine. Sometimes there's some lying around in the urethra, and it mixes with semen on the way out. If you've ever gotten pre-come (much heavier with urine) or even semen in your mouth, or your vagina, or where ever, you've probably gotten some urine in there.

For example, Hepatitis B can be present in an infected person's urine. Various other STDs can be found in urine as well, so it shouldn't be considered a "safer sex" option.

Feedback is good but it could get to the stage where people don't want to give their opinions cause of how others judge them - which would be a shame. That said, I'd want to do this in the shower so that we could remove the urine as quickly as possible. While it's sterile on exiting the body, it quickly attracts and cultures bacterial growth.
