People gotta make their money the best way they know how. They are going to do it either way
Should prostitution be legalized?

I feel like it would be a lot more practical to legalize it.

Yes it should be it's a job and not everyone can get sex or just like the thrill I see nothing wrong with it

It would require both johns and prostitutes to be tested constantly and the logistics of that are an issue. But otherwise if a woman/man is ok with it I don't see a problem. If there are willing women/men (which I assume there are plenty) it would probably stop some of the sick shit people do to force people into it.

Consenting adults should be able to do whatever they want sexually

No, it shouldn't be legal. Nobody should pay or be paid for sex, simple as that. Also, I don't think it should be anyone's job. Go to school fucking slackers.

No. More young people will think that it's okay to sell your body if its legalized, kids younger and younger will probably start doing it or think about doing it; Opening them up to diseases and potentially dangerous people. You don't know who you're going to meet or who’s going to lie to you.
This is my opinion, it’s okay if you don't share it. There are repercussions for everything, and that’s part of why I think they haven’t legalized it. People manage to find their way around the system, that’s fine, but don't make it easier for minors to come to harm before they even mature.

absolutely. i'm a sex worker myself (not a prostitute), but it's been around since the beginning of time and it's going to be done even if it's illegal, so let's make it safe for them. let's enforce laws and lay down rules and help keep our sex workers from being killed and thrown away like trash!

I think so! Anything to make sex work safer. It's a dangerous profession when it's illegal, and it doesn't have to be!

I agree. Plus it could be good for the economy and it's something that's been around forever so it'll happen anyway...

3) there should be more accountability for people who abuse workers
4) by taking away some of the mystique, it makes the entire industry seem more open and accessible, which will hopefully attract fewer crazies and better quality clientele for the people who work in this industry.
Why shouldn't people who make a living this way be entitled to a better, safer, working environment, and the same rights as other people who work in dangerous (but more conventional) jobs?
I don't care what your moral stance on the issue is, but people deserve to be treated well and no one should have to work in sub-standard conditions where abuse can take place. That's just my two-cents... less

Yea it doesn't really make sense that you can't do what you want with your own body. No one's getting hurt and it's mutual agreement. Just doesn't make much sense when you think about it.

There is no reason that it should be illegal. Granted, making it legal will probably change and manipulate what people are currently used to, but let's give it a shot.
