I have always thought it would be sexy to be hooked up to a breast pump! I just think that a hospital grade pump sucking milk out of my nipples sounds sexy . Does anyone else out there think that's a sexy idea?
Does anyone beside me think this sounds sexy?

Sounds alright, although I think if I was lactating, it would be a bonus.

Not my thing, but who really cares? I don't have to do it/see it.

Having been hooked up to a hospital-grade breast pump every 2 hours around the clock while my oldest child was a newborn, I can say from experience that no, it does not sound the least bit sexy to me. It made me feel like a dairy cow. But to each his own.

Since I've used a breast pump and know that for myself I do not find it sexy, I'd have to say no, it doesn't sound hot to me. I don't think it's gross either. It's just not something I find sexy either, it was actually pretty uncomfortable.
08/01/2010
Doesn't sound sexy or hot to this girl. I have never used a breast pump either.
08/01/2010
Nope. I'm not looking forward to it during pregnancy either.
08/01/2010
Not sexy, but not gross either

Not really sexy to me, though hubby is kinda into that. I am breastfeeding currently and we've tried things, but it's not high on our list.
08/01/2010
I'm terrified that my nipples will look like a an artsy three-forked fountain when I lactate, since my nipples are pierced.
08/01/2010
yeah, there has to be milk
08/01/2010
I need an other . Having done it for months two times in my life, I don't attach any kind of sexy aspect to it. It was more of a necessity and while it wasn't awful, it was time consuming, not to mention trying to find a place at work to do it twice a day.
08/01/2010
I guess I've never had kids or breast feed so I don't link it to children. Maybe that's why I think it's sexy.
08/01/2010
I don't find it particularly titillating, but I don't think lactation fetishes are that rare.
08/01/2010
It's never been a kick of mine.
08/01/2010
I breastfed my children for a combined total of 24 months, and I pumped milk on a daily basis during those 34 months, so no, a breast pump is not in the least bit sexy to me! But hey, to each their own.
08/02/2010
It was kinda cool to see the milk fly out when my wife was breastfeeding and using a pump, but not really sexy.
08/11/2010
I am interested in lactating for sexual gratification but somehow the idea of a breastpump never entered into my head. I'm not sure how I feel about that but initially I'm having a hard time associating it with anything sexual-- it feels very "appliancy" to me like a microwave or food processor haha
08/12/2010
Definitely not my thing. I also don't intend to have children so odds are I won't have to worry about lactating at all.. However, if you think it would be hot, and so would your significant other, then go for it by all means!
08/12/2010
Hmm, sounds better if my boyfriend is doing the suckling LOL but, if you like it, go for it!
08/12/2010
Maybe just a small nipple pump machine. The hospital ones they use for breast pumping are not sexy nor are they comfortable! But I do love having my nipples sucked on, so the smaller nipple pump might feel nice.
08/12/2010
I wanted to breast feed my daughter sooooo badly because of all the life long health benefits that she would get. She was not having it. So I pumped every ounce of milk that she drank for 5 months until my milk dried up. So, no there is no way that I find it sexy. I understand how someone who has never used one would be interested, but I have a feeling you won't find it sexy for long. LOL
08/12/2010
Whatever tickles your pickle, hon. If you think it's hot, then go for it. Your kink doesn't have to mesh with everyone else's kink(s).
08/13/2010
I mean, whatever you are into. But, as a Lactation Consultant, I can tell you, if you are NOT lactating, it will hurt like hell. And not in a good way! Lactating breasts secrete a lubricant from the Glands of Montgomery (those little bumps on your aureole that look like pimples or goosebumps) and when you are not lactating, they Glands don't secrete much at all.
Also, the better quality pumps yield better results and have more consistent suction PSI and cycle times.
Cheap pumps, like the Evenflo, the Gerber, the Isis, the "Gentle Expressions" do NOTHING but cause pain, not good, sexy pain, just shitty pain. Any pump under $300.00 (with about one exception, the Medela Double Ease) is usually poor quality, can generate so much suction that they actually can cause nipple and breast damage and HURT like hell. Cheap pumps can generate, in a very inconsistent way,up to 10 times the neccesary suction, and cycle times that keep the negative pressure on the breast for TOO LONG of a time and it can cause breast damage to use these cheap ass pumps. That is why breastfeeding mothers should NEVER buy a breast pump from places like Baby's R Us, Target, KMart, Walmart etc. They carry crappy products, and the people who work there are clueless about HOW the product works, and which product is best for each woman's needs.
I need to tell you. I have certainly used breastpumps myself, while nursing my own children. I also sell and rent high quality hospital grade pumps for my clients (they are expensive, because a lot of research goes into them, the materials are medical grade, and safe and the suctions and cycles are consistent and similar to what a human infant generates.) and there is NOTHING sexy IMO about pumping your breasts. It's actually a bit of a pain in the ass. I've never heard a woman say she ENJOYS it. It may be necessary if you need to be away from your baby, or your baby can't latch or is hospitalized, but most women see breast pumps as a necessary PITA. And many breastfeeding moms NEVER even need a breast pump. Many just use the baby all the time, which is ideal.
The suction on a good quality breast pump should NOT be strong, and should be very consistent (meaning the PSI are the SAME on every cycle and don't' change as the container fills with milk) in a high quality pump, babies don't generate a lot of negative pressure, and neither should a good pump. I have never felt the least bit stimulated while pumping and NEVER felt the desire to use one while not lactating, and I have at least 20 pumps in my house at all times.
Whatever floats your boat, but I wouldn't buy a cheap one. I've seen serious, deep tissue damage from poor quality pumps. This, in some cases, can actually be permanent. As the FDA refuses to control the quality of breast pumps (urged by the formula companies that they are "not medical appliances" and they ARE!) so many dangerous breast pumps are easily available.
Also, trying to pump a "dry breast" without good preparation can be painful and also harmful. If done properly, say a situation where a woman is going to adopt a baby and needs to generate a supply, or the non-pregnant woman in a lesbian relationship wants to be able to also feed the baby and needs to generate a supply, it is quite safe, but one would need to hire a lactation consultant (they run about $120.00 per visit and up in my area) do the proper preparation, obtain a high quality pump and stick to a regular schedule. I wouldn't recommend just putting a pump on non-lactating breasts, if you aren't trying to make milk for a baby for any reason.

I could have written the exact same thing and it would have applied to me. Funny how kids have the power to change our perceptions so drastically.

I also wanted to add that a breastpump feels NOTHING like an infant or an adult mouth at a breast. They only generate suction, not any actual nipple stimulation. IMO, there is really nothing arousing about breast pumping. I've done it because my babies had to have MILK while I was not able to be with them for short periods of time.
In the years when I am not nursing, I have never even thought about picking up any of the pumps in my house and using them. I don't see it as fun, just necessary if your baby needs milk and you can't be with them, or your supply is low and you need to increase it.
Your mileage may vary, but crappy cheap pumps WILL cause harm to your breasts, please keep that in mind. I've seen circular deep bruises, the size of the pump flange, from cheap pumps which did permanent damage to women's breasts. NOT a good thing to do to your body.

As a woman that has used a breast pump - I can't say that I found anything erotic about the experience whatsoever. But, there are people who have sex with cars...so I don't have to understand it, but if it gets you off, go for it!
