When I say 'domesticated', I mean he cleans up after himself, keeps a decent living space, takes care of himself, does his laundry/dishes, knows how to cook . . . etc.
He had been married before

to be fair, neither of us were very domestic when we got together! Typical college students. We had to learn how to do all that stuff together, which is a nice learning experience in the long run.

I picked up my man about six months after he got out of a four year relationship. He was somewhat domesticated, but not entirely. In fact, I blame his ex for a lot of his bad habits! But I've got them mostly ironed out now I know if I come home from work and school he will have the house picked up if he gets there before me. Is it woman-quality-clean? Of course not, but he puts in the effort!

I was more domestic than he was because I lived on my own already, and my parents left me to my own business most of my life with them anyways. He was still at his parents who were VERY overbearing and did most everything for him. He's learned to take care of himself since then.

I'm not a woman though, I was just more domestic because of the independence I had living with my parents.
