I was drawn by the warmth of his eyes and his smile that was flanked on either side by the deepest, most beautiful dimples. When I met him, I was working at a gym that he frequented on a daily basis, so he was very built. Plus, he had a pretty (though definitely masculine) face, dark hair (and eyes), and gorgeous olive skin. But it was the warmth in his eyes and his deeply dimpled smile that got me!

I should have just put a combination of everything. I found him on ICQ, looking up local people my age when I moved here. His username was Triskal, which I thought sounded really cool, so I messaged him. We talked and talked and talked. He sent me a picture of himself and apologized for not having a shirt on in it (I did not mind at all ). He was just perfect, physically. He's got soft brown eyes, and beautiful skin. He had long black hair (that's peppered with gray now and shorter). He has this clever little smirk. He was so funny and we got along so well.

We were best friends for 2 years before we started dating. After 24 years of marriage, he is still my best friend and I still love his personality!

I met my partner when I was in high school. We didn't start dating then, but I knew about him. He was part of the same circle of friends as I was & I actually was dating a friend of his at the time we first met. The night we did actually have a conversation/meet was at a graduation party at a friends house. I had a killer migraine & was nearly sick so I wouldn't drink & he asked if I wanted to ride with him to the store. I thought it was a little creepy so I said now & a while later he showed up with a BC powder for my migraine! How sweet! So, I gagged as I took the powder with a beer & then started drinking pretty heavily. Soon, I was pretty lit & started chatting. There was an older man there who was a lot creepy actually he was a friend's ex-father in-law & he kept insisting on "helping me to the powder room to pee!" & as he pushed me through to the powder room, I brushed my current BF's arm & gave him an "I'm scared!" look & he took over from there & told the man I could make it own my own. Well, the next day he'd gone home as did I, but I really wanted to see him again so I went back to the friend's house to see if he was around. He wasn't.

When I got back home an old friend called & said he'd been looking all over for me since we met the night before & wanted to see me! How cool? So to another party we went. We actually hooked up the second night & we've been together ever since!

I didn't know a lot about him when we first hooked up & wasn't sure that I wanted it to be a relationship, but as I got to know how kind hearted he was, I was extremely drawn to him (I mean it actually turned me on!) I never told him just how much I liked it that he was so kind & always stopping to give an old lady a ride until 2 days ago! He had stopped us to give an old lady a ride to the grocery store (we didn't know her) and back home which took an hour. As we were driving her hat flew off & landed on the road. He stopped, got out & gave her hat back. & this is 5 years of us being together & I told him those 2 days ago that it really turned me on that he was always going so far out of his way to help people. He said "I'll drive old people all the way to Atlanta if it really turns you on!" Ha Ha.

I was attracted to him mostly because there was something mysterious about him & he was very nice looking, then even more attracted to him when I learned how precious he was! Any man who'll give my cat CPR, is a real good man in my eyes! Lol. (He actually gave my kitty CPR when we were first together)

When I first met my guy, I had a very clear "he's cute, but I'm not blown-off-my-feet attracted to him" conversation in my head. Then he mentioned his time living in Massachusetts (I'd just visited the area the year before and LOVED it), and the rest is history. We bonded over literature that night, and as I began to grasp his whole personality, he became attractive on a physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual level.

Oh, and he has the best hair and great guitar-playing skills. Two gloriously sexy qualities!
