Yep, I've had some who stayed friends, and others didn't. Kinda varied a lot depending on the relationship we had before dating
What kind of relationship do you have with your ex?

My ex cut all ties with me... it took like 6 months and my mom to get my stuff back and give him his.

I don't have any exes, so...

We are the weirdest divorced couple you will ever meet. We talk, agree on most everything, he gets along well with my current BF. I live in his (was ours) house with our kids and he lives next door to my dad. During the divorce, if anyone had told me our relationship would be like this, I'd have said they had lost their mind. But I figure it's best for the kids this way and we're all happy, so that's all that matters.

I was myself living with my ex (we were roommates for three years after breaking up) when I met my new boyfriend. We all lived together for a year before my ex finally moved out with his new GF. We were all getting along very well, the boys used to laugh together and make each other toasts in the morning. It was great, really. It may seem weird for some people but I think that it should be the other way around. War between two people that used to love each other is the weirdest thing to me... it's just sad. Of course it also depends on the situation in the break up.

In high school I got along with my exs fairly well but with my ex husband I hate his guts and he has no part of our lives... mine by choice but our daughter's by his own. Because of that I think good riddance and could care less about his life now as long as he stays out of mine

I usually exert an effort to be friends with them. You'll never know you can still get some.
It all depends on a girl on how they want it to be. I think all guys wants to be friends as long as its a clean break up.
