I wouldn't really care. A dog has the option to not lick someone and it obviously chose to. I don't see the problem unless it was illegal in that particular state.

So no, I wouldn't end the relationship at all.

I don't have a major problem with it. I am surprised and confused at how many people have such a strong reaction to this. Walking in on such a scene would certainly be bizarre. And it does ick me out a little but not much more than the thought of any tongue on my vulva does.

That was wrong and everyone is right in being disgusted.

However, this man and his wife must have not had a good relationship if after something this embarrassing happened he told all his buddies. I mean this must be terribly hard for her to know that not only is she getting left, but also that people are making fun/judging her.

Wow...I am an animal person and feel horrible for that dog & hope the husband took it. I guess each relationship is different as far as how you would handle it but EEEEEWWWW!!!! If you are super commited to making it work then counseling as a couple and for the wife is a must! Otherwise, I honestly don't know that I could look past something like that

That would indicate a high level of mental dysfunction in my mind and so I would suggest counseling, but I am not sure I would continue such a relationship either. We get "weird", but that is uber weird.

This particular "urban myth" has been told for decades, if not longer. Not that it couldn't happen but I'd be very dubious that it was true in every case.

My brief morality comment: Bestiality is not a good thing.

Beyond that, I really wonder what kind of relationship these people had in the first place. The reason I question is:
1. He didn't know what was going on.
2. He had no problem ruining her reputation by spreading around what she did.
3. He jumped right to divorce. Not talking. Not counseling. Divorce.

Personally I wouldn't care. So long as the animal isn't unhappy and I don't have to have sloppy seconds from a poodle, and nobody gets arrested... Or she falls in love with the dog, I'd probably walk out then.

Haha, okay, that's interesting that it's only illegal in 32 states. I wouldnt ever do that. And i would question someone who did. But end the relationship? I mean, clearly they were living together...that seems a bit harsh to me. Although I can't say I would have stayed if it was me in the situation.
