No, it's not always. Some couples simply keep in touch frequently. With my husband and me, we are constantly checking on each other even in the house and if one of us is outside on the property. When we're together, we are constantly touching each other, so being in touch while one is out is common. He also calls me at least once or twice while he is at work and when he gets to the grocery store to see if I need anything for dinner every evening.

I will never be made to feel like we're co-dependent or any of that other nonsense just because we like to tease each other and play throughout the day. Nor will I ever be apologetic about our love of affection towards each other. I LIKE to kiss my husband. I LIKE to hold his hand or stroke his thigh if he's sitting beside me. Sometimes I just want to go up to people who give us dirty looks and say "maybe you should try it sometime, you might like the results". Society's views have ruined so many intimate things for those in relationships. *sigh* /rant
