Yes on one realtionship and no on the other. Sigel's first language is English as is mine and Arch's first language is Polish though he is fleuent in english.

It can be intimidating for some reason...Arch has the same problem. When he saw how much it was a turn on though he changed his mind.

English is his first language and my second. Spanish is my first. Now hubby tryn to learn

We both speak english, but he is german and that comes out a little from time to time. Two of our kids are pretty fluent in Spanish and one in French so its quite the melting pot around here.

My guy knows Croatian, German, and English (learned in that order). I have very limited German, otherwise just English. I'd like to learn Croation or German enough to translate, though. He says early in the morning he can't speak English until he's more awake...

My partner and I are both standard american English speakers.
However, my first wife's language was Spanish. German initially was the common language that we used for communication, we met in German language school in Germany. She subsequently learned English as well. Sadly she would not teach our son Spanish, I never will understand that.

Me and my husband's native language is Cantonese too! Cantonese is a lot harder to learn than Mandarin, there's a lot of slang in it. Although we're Chinese, we speak both Chinese and English (50/50) at home.

Master is British and I'm American - technically, we both speak English but they're still different languages. We sometimes have to ask for translations.

I'm lucky I mastered my native language - I failed four language classes in high school and college (French, Spanish, German, and Latin).

Master knows French, Italian, and German because he travels to those places often. And he's ALSO an engineer!

I actually have a couple sets of couple friends who speak 2 different languages natively. They met and spoke english to each other since neither one spoke the others native language. One couple in particular then took to teaching each other their native language (hungarian and spanish) it was adorable.

Well He is Jamaican and I'm St.Lucian....we both speak English but Jamaicans have a sort of really BAD broken English....As for me I speak English but I have my St.Lucian accent as well and I also speak Creole which is broke French
