My husband cheated on me emotionally and physically. With his ex from high school no less. She came to visit us Christmas of '08 and that's when it started. He even went out of town to see her right about Valentines the following February. Most heartbreaking of all, I got pregnant with our littlest one that same Christmas. He cheated until I confirmed my suspicions after months of denial from him, two weeks before the baby was born. We've never been the same. Won't ever be the same. We had been married just shy of 9 years. We're still together, but like I said, it just isn't the same. We are still trying, but mostly I'm just busting my ass to get through school and get working so that I can handle my own shit if anything bad happens again.
