I didn't vote because its not so black and white in my book. I guess I consider it sex. If we were to only "fool around" and we both orgasm without actual intercourse, I still generally say something about how he "sexed me".

I consider it a type of sex. It is usually part of foreplay for us though.

There needs to be a both option. Sometimes we use it as foreplay and sometimes its what the final act is and then we are done

I find it a bit amazing how so many people do NOT consider oral sex as sex.

Honestly, y'all if you and your partner were to both give each other oral sex to orgasm, would consider that you had had "sex" or not? If you consider it sex then.... it's sex.

I simply cannot convey how much I hate the concept of "foreplay." It simply downgrades the way most women orgasm. And the way many men orgasm. If something can LEAD to and-or cause orgasm, no matter what it it, it's should be called SEX!

Sticking a penis into a vagina is fun and exciting, but at least to us, it certainly isn't the end all and be all of sexual play. There are so many other things to include that often PIV takes up less time in a marathon than other things.

Not to mention that many people have sex with partners who have the same or similar sexual organs that they have, thus "sticking a penis into a vagina" isn't possible or desirable for them. But, they still have sex don't they? I think it's cruel, divisive and hetero-centrist to think otherwise.

Referring to "sex" as ONLY PIV bothers me as much as referring to ONLY Birth Control Pills as "Birth Control." (When there are myriad forms of birth control that are NOT The Pill.) It makes the assumption of only one thing being paramount to others.

I'll shut up now.

It really depends, but since we do it more often for foreplay, we went with that one.
