I did date a felon once though...on probation...bad idea for me...

I could never imagine myself dating someone that I met while they were in prison.

I suppose that if I'd already known someone and they landed in jail or prison, it would be different.

I don't want to emphatically say "no", but I guess I just really can't see myself being one of those Prison Wives that you see on television.

Maybe if my boyfriend went to jail for a minor offense or misdemeanor . But I would never date someone with felony charges.

If I was already dating them and whatever the crime was didn't run me off. I'd probably be a pen pal with a prisoner I didn't know previously.

If I was already with someone when they got sent to prison, I'd stand by them unless their crime was totally reprehensible.

If I met someone who had been in prison but is out now, it would depend on what their crime was and what they're doing with themselves now.

Would I start a relationship with someone who is currently in prison? No, not at all.
