In all honesty, who do you think is going to win the 2012 American presidential elections. p:

I'm not fond of either one, but I'd take Obama over Romney. I

I agree with the above poster, the incumbent...

So let me get this straight, there are some of you who hate Obama and Romney, yet you're still going to vote for one of them?

There are other people running you know, like Gary Johnson and Jill Stein.

Seriously educate yourself before you decide to vote. Don't just vote for one of the popular names because you messed up and didn't get a chance to find out who the other two AWESOME candidates are.

Right. A few days ago I took a quiz thing to find out which candidate I agree with most....All of my friends who took it and myself ended up with Stein.....realisticall y, though, that's not going to happen...

Obama is the lesser of two evils, so my vote goes to him (I live in Mississippi.....my Obama vote won't even really count; but my Stein vote would like....NEGATIVE count).......

.....c'est la vie.

I could NEVER vote for someone with views like Romney, though.

I like and dislike both candidates. But I more so like Obama. Romney just annoyed me in the one debate. He got yelled at every time it was Obama's time to talk because he just wouldn't shut up. Not saying this is how he will be, but it's kind of like in an interview. If you cannot be respectful and follow basic instructions, how can one do the job correctly? But, that little thing aside, it seems like he can never make up his mind. Least we know what we are getting with Obama. And I agree with Kendra. Don't fuck with what rights we do have and worked hard for. Bad enough women are still looked down upon by many as sperm disposers and baby holders whom's place is in the kitchen, we don't need our medical ripped apart, too. As for anything else, I don't follow the debates enough to really debate the topic. But I still thought I would just voice my opinion

I think it's too close to call right now. The polls are very close. There are a lot of people I know who voted for Obama the first time around who are very disappointed in him. We keep hearing that it takes longer than four years to fix the mess from before, but we had a Democratic house and senate when he was elected, a lot of promises, and a lot of hope. Now, things look so grim for the economy, that a lot of us are disillusioned. Blaming everything on the administration from before is a cop out and only feels like finger pointing. Excuses aren't what people want right now. They want solutions. A lot of people are willing to gamble on Romney, even if they have doubts about him being the answer. Neither candidate is my ideal, but...are they ever?

The tampon thing was a hoax. Look into things that you hear before you take them seriously. :-/

"banning tampons/pads"? He seriously said that? Like I said, I don't follow much. But how the fuck is that going to help anyone? Oh, hey. We are just going to let it drip down our legs! Or is he just assuming we should wear adult diapers a week of ever month? Really, this idea is fucking stupid.

As well as the others of course. The gay's comment was uncalled for in his part.

Gary Johnson and I probably align the most on the issues. I think a lot of people feel like it's useless to vote for a third party because they have no chance of winning, so it's just assumed that we should vote for the candidate we dislike the least. This election though, I feel really torn. I'm neither a Democrat or a Republican, and I'm neither conservative or liberal. Socially, I fall on the left side of the spectrum. Economically, I'm somewhere in the middle. I'm more conservative when it comes to defense and the military. That's where Johnson probably becomes my less than ideal candidate.

Seriously, people. Look things up. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Unfortunately, for some reason or other not all of the candidates are on everyone's ballot. For instance, in my area the ballot only has Obama, Romney, and Johnson on it. Stein isn't an option.

I didn't. As for why I asked if he really did say it. I also asked my facebook friends. One said he did, another said it's far fetched. He however is anti-gays, and I'm not OK with that.
