YES! Imagine how many people that much money that could have fed? Imagine how many schools it could have kept running? How many computers for children who need them could have been bought? How much decent clothing could be purchased or made for those who have none? Shelters could have been built for those who have no warm place to sleep.

Yes, it's my opinion. But, maybe the economy isn't the only thing wrong with our modern life. If we idolize people who DO nothing and who waste money that could have brought dignity to many.
