The same thing happened to my boyfriend with his ex - not with sex toys, but with property in general, including important paperwork like his birth certificate. I was lucky enough with my ex not to have those issues. I did throw away a few of his posters, but only because I found them in one of my boxes many months after we'd last been in touch, and I didn't think they were worth the emotional disruption to both our lives.

Oh my! That would be a problem! Why? Did he not have a problem using them when ya'll were together? You said BDSM gear, so it sounds like he probably used them with you? And he threw them out?! What a jerk off. Sounds like if he had a problem with them, he'd have spoken up before the huge accumulation, so I'm guessing he did this not because he's freaked about your toys, but because of another fight? Still, not nice to ever chunk someone shit. That's a big NOOOO! I'd never do that to a partner unless it was betrayal type of material. Sorry you're going through this.
