23. I own two irons and only iron when sewing is involved. Or I need to touch up the pleats in my tartan skirt.
Young folks (like under 30). Do you iron?
02/11/2013
Sometimes.
02/11/2013
I had one, then it disappeared. I need another one.
02/11/2013
I personally don't, although I should learn how to since I have quite a lot of button down shirts.
02/11/2013
As a 19 year old college student, "if it's wrinkled it's wrinkled and I'm late for class anyways."
02/11/2013
I'm well over 30 and I NEVER iron. I don't even know where my iron is.
However, my middle daughter, who is in college and who also sews, irons as does her older sister. So, two of my kids must have got tired of wrinkled clothes and started ironing for themselves.
I hate to iron! Everybody always wrinkles their clothes as soon as they dress anyway.
I do use that anti-wrinkle spray for my husband's shirts.

I'll iron something if it's particularly bad. I go out of my way to buy clothing made from fabric that doesn't really need to be ironed, though.
02/11/2013
I've only ironed like twice in my life, so no.
02/11/2013
Nope. I have a couple things that probably should be ironed, but I usually just hang 'em in the bathroom while I take a hot steamy shower and that usually does the trick.
02/11/2013
I'm 31. I own an iron and used to use it to iron hubby's shirts. But I learned to get the out of the dryer right away, so now I never iron. I think clothes today don't generally require ironing the way they used to.

I don't iron, but I'll use a hair straightener on cloth belts, cuffs and collars if they really need it.

Iron... rarely. I will jack someone's hair straightener for a bit to "iron" the collar and lapel of some of my shirts if they are looking kinda crinkled though
02/12/2013
I will for my husband, but it is truly my least favorite chore.
02/12/2013
I iron if it really needs it. I'm 24.
02/13/2013
Under 25.
Own MULTI. irons and boards, and enough starch to crisp a department store. I were formal attire to work everyday. My father got me into the whole "sharp line, crisp and clean" thing.

For sewing, yes, for my clothes, almost never. I avoid buying clothing that wrinkles easily.

Yes, actually I just brought a iron the other week, but its not something that I usually do on a regular basis

I rarely iron. When I buy clothes, I look especially for clothes that don't wrinkle easily.
02/14/2013
23 and yes. Wrinkly silk or wool is a no-no.
02/14/2013
I'm in my mid-twenties, and I've never ironed. Not even once. And yes I'm ashamed. I just got an iron for the holidays, though, so maybe I'll learn and start soon.
02/14/2013
18 and only for formal wear that requires it.
02/14/2013
I used to take steaming hot showers and that will steam iron your clothes. But now no hot water. So I iron all the time
02/14/2013
if it needs to be yeah
02/14/2013
No, definitely not! I could probably do it if I had to, however, that involves far too much work and my clothes aren't nice enough!

I even had a full size ironing board and iron in my dorm room.

I iron sometimes, like if I have something important to go to and my clothes are noticeably wrinkled. Usually I just try to pull my clothes out of the dryer immediately and hang them up.

18, Yes I iron for sewing. Other times if I'm in a rush I'll just use my flat iron that I use on my hair for clothing.

I own an iron AND an ironing board (gasp), I am also 25. My boyfriend also irons, I did have to teach him. Some of my favorite memories were ironing my grandmothers cloth napkins while she ironed her clothes.

I have to iron my part-time job uniform. Hate the job and hate ironing.
02/21/2013
I'm in my 20s and rarely, but that's because my job doesn't take a lot of ironed clothes
