Y'all are gonna die of hypothermia before a wolf ever wants to have at you. Those animals are only going to approach you if you cross them or if there is no other food around and they've been hungry for a good week or so. We're not their natural pray. I would take the sleeping bag, climb a tree and sit up there until dawn. It's also not as easy to kill an animal as you'd think. If you're not trained, a gun will do you more harm than good. You're more likely (unless you're trained) to hurt yourself or just flesh wound the animal and piss it off really bad.

I have to say that I would like an axe. There are a lot of things you can do with an axe that you can't do with most of the other items on a list.

I'd go with the lighter. I could make a fire to stay warm and somewhat safe, and I could try to make a flaming torch to jab at anything that might attack me.

sleeping bag. I can use sharpened rocks as weapons, cutting implements, and to make a fire (with kindling picked up from the forest floor, live wood that would be cut down with an axe would be useless anyway).

My gut instinct is to say a gun since the thought of bears coming after me terrifies me, but probably a sleeping bag. You might be able to get away from wild animals, but you can't avoid hypothermia once it hits a certain temperature.
