Went to school with Stanley Tucci, Steven Webber and Wesley Snipes. Gary Sinise lived across the street when I was a little girl. Interviewed a fair number of famous or semi-famous people when I worked at Playgirl, including Pete Steele of Type O Negative. (Really nice guy, BTW.) Met Quentin Tarrantino in a NYC nightclub at a Junior Brown performance.

I was on the Panel on the Oprah Show once, years ago. I am not even that fond of her show. She was not very personable in person, either. Oh, well, we got a nice limo ride out of it, (The Man, our baby and myself) and a tray of bagels that I was too nervous to eat, but she DIDN'T take us out to lunch, like she always says she'll do on the show, when I DID watch it, about 20 years ago.
OOOO, and that guy, who was on the Food Channel, who did the show about going to food festivals and stuff, and who did the ill-fated show "Studs" DeCarlo? He's my cousin. We used to hang out when we were little kids, but I haven't talked to him in years.
I once patted Buddy Guy, the Blues Player, on the shoulder, at his club, Legends.
My Man is friends with a huge celebrity chef, they knew each other in College. I don't remember the dude's name though. He was on the new Cooking Channel a few days ago.
Drew Peterson (the cop in a suburb of Chicago who murdered several of his wives) was spotted at a store one of my kids worked at. She texted me and was terrified he would "kill" her. She wasn't married to him, so I told her not to worry. Someone asked him if he was Peterson, and he proudly whipped out his license to show off. UG.
I have lame celebrity connections. less

It's good, isn't it? Reminds me of The Food Network before they got all "Celebrity Chef" crazy. When My Man and I first started watching TFN, it was many years ago, and the ONLY sponsor was this horrible medicine for toe fungus commercial.

Closest thing I have is that my mom was Jim Brueur's (the comedian) massage therapist when she still lived in NJ. He lives fairly local and it's not uncommon to see him out and about doing normal family stuff. Funny thing is my mom is so not interest in stand up or the kinds of movies that he does, she had absolutely no idea who he even was til after a few sessions.

I met Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid a few years ago. It was a signing session that got sped up after it was over and there was still loads of people in line waiting. So they only allowed a handshake with each member as we moved down the line and then we were out the door. I think I met some small-town local celebrities when I was younger, but I can't remember them. Oh, oh! And I met the band Slaughter at a concert several years ago.

Well if anyone watches TLC and 19 Kids and Counting, I live literally 5 minutes away from the Duggars. My mom is actually a friend to the mother and we were invited to their son's wedding. Other than that my husbands has met quite a few celebs to include Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Kevin Costner, and I'm sure more I just don't remember. Not going to say how he met them! LOL

I have my own opinion about people who have 19 kids when the entire world is facing over population.

I HATE THAT SHIT!
That woman is the ultimate masochist. Or she's completely psychotic. Either way...gross and irresponsible.

My ex-husband did their taxes when he was a bookkeeper (way before he met me, so they were only on kid ten or twelve). He was amazed at what they could do, and he said they honestly loved their kids and raised them pretty well (they must be doing something right if none of them got into legal trouble). He often joked that we should have as many kids. I told him that having children required having sex. *eyeroll*

I worked at an office where Arnold Schwarzenegger frequented.
I met Carmen Electra at a grand opening a couple years ago, she is so cute!
A friend of mine flies planes and knows the creators of Google.
Oh, and my hubby got to sit with Jenny McCarthy at a casino event.
