They are in every room except the bathroom
Which rooms do you have tv sets in?

We only have one TV and that's in the living room.

We have one in the bedroom and living room. At my family home there is one in the kitchen and basement as well. But they're not on all the time and only the one in the living room has cable.

Same. We chose to not have one in our bedroom. That is our private room for us time, not for tv...just our preference.

Around here, there is a tv in each of the bedrooms and one in the lounge.
I'd LOVE one in the bathroom - I'd spend so much time in the bath!
I usually have the tv on - unless I'm asleep.
Half the stuff is shit but I have it on more so for background noise. Living in the sticks, it's EXTREMELY quiet (I love no sirens and other traffic or kids yelling). The tv just breaks a little of the silence.

I have a TV in my living room and one in the bedroom. I need to cut a hole in the back of my new TV cabinet before the one in the bedroom can be used, so we just use the one in the living room. When we can use the one in the bedroom, it will only be used to play games on older systems and videos. I like to watch TV mostly in the morning before I go to bed. Other than that, it is usually off.

There's one in the bedroom, but it's not hooked up and I doubt it will be. We just needed a place to get it out of the way for the moment.
The only one we use is in the front room for now.

There should be TV sets in every room

We have 2 in the bedrooms, one in the living room, and one in the basement, but we're thinking of getting one for the kitchen. I always keep my bedroom TV on when I'm in there, even if its on mute and I'm not watching it.

There are 2 tv's in my house at the moment. One in the living room and one in my step-daughter's room. We have been planning to get one for the master bedroom, but have yet to do it. We currently watch our porn on the laptop while we are in bed, but it seems to be easier to turn it off before we get busy! If we had a tv in our room, we would be able to leave it on during our play. So hopefully, if we ever do put a tv in our bedroom, the main use will be for porn! I would hate for it to take away from our "quality time"!

I have a TV in the living room and on in my room.
We don't watch TV too much, it is more of a background noise for us at times. I like to put on Disney Junior and Spongebob for my son sometimes, but luckily he has minimal interest in it. He is a very active toddler and I like that much more than if he sat and watched TV for an hour (which I wouldn't let him anyways), but that's a whole 'nother discussion.
I must say I am still addicted to drama reality shows. My latest ventures have been Operation Repo and Hardcore Pawn on tru tv, and I absolutely love me some Pawn Stars and Paranormal State! Oh and Storage Wars.

We have one tv and it is in the living room.
I don't want us to have a tv in our bedroom and become this sort of weird couple who just hang out watching tv in bed and eating in bed. I love my bed but only for naps and bedtime, not for watching tv.

We have a tv in the bedroom, and a tv in the living room. Neither one we watch too often, because we don't have cable. We have blu-ray and streaming netflix on the living room set, and dvd in the bedroom. We will definitely never have a tv in the kitchen.

We only have one tv and it's in the living room. Every once in a while, I wish we had a second tv and a room to put it in because I would like to watch something other than what my husband is watching. But most of the time, having just one tv is fine.
My husband has made it very clear that he DOES NOT want a tv in our bedroom. And I'm fine with that.

We have a TV in the living room/family room and one in the bedroom. I don't think I'd get any more than that.

We have one in the living room and one downstairs not hooked up (non flatscreen). Don't have a desire for one in the bedroom.

More often than not I use my computer as my TV! With streaming netflix, youtube, etc., there's not much reason to have a TV anymore.

My boyfriend told me he'd been thinking of getting two tv sets for our place which currently has none---one for the living room, and one for the kitchen. In my mind, a tv in the living room is ok if it's not on too often, but I really don't want a tv in the kitchen. I really love cooking, and I enjoy having discussions over dinner, and I value my quiet thinking time while I'm cooking. I worry that a tv would rob me of that, or cause frequent arguments when I want the tv off and other people want it on.
I grew up in a house with one tv in the living room, and one small b&w tv for my mom's exercise videos in a den. My parents were adamantly opposed to tv sets in bedrooms and the kitchen, and now that I'm older I can definitely see why. I haven't had a tv around since I left for college, and I haven't missed it at all. I can still watch the occasional movie on my computer, and I prefer to read the news because I don't have to sit through gossipy sections. I worry that having too many tv sets would take away from conversation. I'm rather shy and I feel very uncomfortable interrupting people, so I would feel like I'd have to wait til commercials to talk.
Do you feel like your living situation has too few tv sets, or too many? Does tv limit your conversation time with the people you live with? less

I only have 1 TV, but I have computers in 2 bedrooms that are used to watch stuff like Hulu and Netflix online.

We have one in each bedroom but the times we watch or let our kids watch is limited

We have a TV in almost every room in the house except the bathrooms.. That's where the stereos are. We'd all rather listen to music in the bathroom

We've TVs in the main sitting room, th Man's room, and each bedroom, but I agree, there shouldn't be one in the kitchen or bathroom, in my opinion.

There's one in the living room and family room, and one in each bedroom. I spend all day in the living room and don't often turn on the TV, maybe to watch the weather channel every now and then. I have a hard time sleeping in the quiet, it's a lot easier for me to fall asleep "doing something" like watching TV or reading a book. My hearing is better than my husband's so I can turn the TV in the bedroom down to a level that he can hear if he's really trying to pay attention but it doesn't keep him awake and I can still hear it just fine. I like having it on as background noise, especially if we're having sex because it's one thing to know we're doing it cuz the TV is up, but it's different to actually hear us doing it. I imagine things will change when we get our own place.
