I have some Ecover toilet bowl cleaner that I LOVE how it smells. I also love products that contain and smell like tea tree oil, that's a clean smell to me too.
When you have really "cleaned up" your house or apartment, do you want it to "smell clean" or do you want the smell to say "clean"?

Hubby prefers a room with a pristine lack of smell. That tells him it's "clean"
How about you?

A little air freshener is good, but a lingering smell is not for me

Some cleaners smell good, but I don't like them to linger for too long.

We don't use any chemical cleaners or air fresheners. Here's one example, among many, of why.
Vinegar works remarkably well for a wide range of cleaning applications. I don't mind a little lingering vinegar smell, as long as it's not too strong and goes away quickly.

I want traces of clean scent. I will usually light a candle such as crisp apple or something like that to tie everything together.

I like some traces of clean scents like a lemon smell.

I can't smell, so it doesn't really make a difference to me, but I hate strong smells that aren't natural.
