Hey, thanks for the pix, guys! I know exactly which strawberry candies those are & it is the kind I spit out!
The Halloween Kiss I never saw before or have heard about. But KinkyKaty hates black licorice, too, she got Good & Plenty all the time from her neighbor. Man I completely forgot about that one, hated getting those!
I remembered another, I'm gagging just thinking about it, Bit-O-Honey! Blech! My little sister actually liked that crap when we were young. I preferred Lemon Heads!
@ lovexroads88, too funny about the gum & little boys being punishment for you! They don't hate you, they're just cheap!
@ sunflower, KING SIZE candy bars, man that place knew how to work it, despite the "creepy" factor of a funeral home giving candy to kids, very smart.
When we were older, college age, we used to just buy full size candy bars & you'd always see the enterprising kids try & come round again for more! By the end of the night, my mom wanted the candy out of the house, (she didn't want temptation around), so we'd just dump handfuls of the candy into the bags. The following year, all these high school teens showed up because they heard about the candy bars, so we made them do stunts & sing to earn the candy because they were a little old to trick or treat. It was really funny & they were good sports, too.
