ok live at my dad's house with my sister I found a fancy thong in the bathroom all crusty with bodily fluids and some blood she said "I didn't know they were yours" Do you believe them? I mean come on I know if I bought a piece of clothing or not...it has happened before...She is also known for stealing out of my bedroom...Anyway I really want to find a solution...should I take every pair of underwear somewhere and have my initials sewn on them? then clean up my bedroom and be very careful with the laundry? There isn't a whole lot I can do or say so I will have to control the situation....

Should I buy her some underwear for her birthday?

Can you just lock your bedroom door and keep a hamper for yourself in there? Then do laundry as you see fit and stay on top of the cycles? I mean, I know it's hard but it's either that or you confront her in front of an authority figure where she can be railed for sharing underwear (EW). If it were me and my sister, specifically, I would embarrass the hell out of her in front of my mother but that's the only way to get through to her.

Keep every thing locked up. My moms girlfriend locks her underwear draw. She actually mounted a padlock on it. She thought we were stealing her underwear I say she is crazy. I cant see using my moms gf's underwear its just to......icky. Plus I have a whole draw of my own to wear.


That or talk to her about it with a parent around or put a lock on your door and do your own laundry from now on.

I did talk to her infront of our mom my mom said well maybe it was my fault maybe I mixed clothes up...I have a suspicion my sister lied and said she didn't know it was my underwear...so ya I will be doing major cleaning and finding solutions...

I will need to take pictures of drawers and how I can lock them up when there doesn't seem a way to do it...actually I will do a video..and upload to photobucket maybe tommorow

I will go as far as looking into a security camera when it comes to things I buy and people I don't like or trust and they have a bad record I will get extreme

10 minuts ago my mom used a jar of spagetti sauce I bought without asking so now I'm going to hide all canned stuff in my closet AND write my name on it..

Maybe I'm selfish I don't care I offer to share some things and I absolutly hate when people doin't ask.

To the underwear thing... EW. That is beyond uncalled. Just how old is your sis anyway? That's just fucking weird

Also, I understand not wanting to share certain things. I have 2 roommates. One was nice enough to share food stamps, the other one would use thing of mine without asking when they knew I had bought certain grocery items, face washes, and dishes etc, without ever asking. I never was paid back for groceries of mine that they have used and they don't see why they should have to. Also, I never touch their stuff and they get territorial and accuse me of using their stuff. It's bs. I would be ok with sharing if they asked or if they were willing to share their stuff.

The best thing is to be upfront and be vigilant. Hide your shit, and get a good lock. Everyone needs privacy and respect for their own personal space. It's completely natural

Regardless of your sister knowing they were yours or not, she knew they were not hers so she is a liar either way. My brother stole a lot of my shit when I went to college. I made him replace and fix the stuff he stole or broke. Then when I found out he was still doing it, I started taking his money out of the bathroom where he would leave it laying around. I never used the money, but would keep it as ransom until he noticed it was missing and would go asking for it. At which point I'd say... and where is my x, x, and x. He got the picture. Oh...and I also had my parents put a lock on my damn door. I am the only one with a key.

I had a roommate who used to do the same things and it made for a really uncomfortable living situation. She would steal my mail, birth control, clothes, money anything of value to me. It was MY appartment and I let her move in with me but eventually I couldnt take it anymore and I moved out of my appartment just to get away from her.

wow, a stack of padlocked storage boxes in place of your dresser would certainly make an impact. If this is an ongoing problem why haven't you changed the doorknob of your bedroom to one that locks? just be sure to install it with the screws to the inside of the room and don't let anyone have a key.
When I was still at my Moms I ended up setting up a small refrigerator and microwave in my room so my younger brother would stop stealing my food.

I have to find someone to help me solve the problem of fixing my door and then hoping my dad will allow it I lived here for 7 years and my lock hasn't been on my door that long if I want to fix it or put another....my dad has control issues put it that way...he might make me give him a key to my bedroom using the excuse to use my computer which he rarly does but he may want to dig through my stuff or something...

the 25 gallon is a fairly large one, the 24 gallon one in out storage room is 26x18x17 if you intend to lock up your underwear and all your toys and stuff you might wanna opt for the larger size. my dad pays for the internet ...my sister's labtop is the only other one in the house and just my mom and dad use my computer....no way can they use my sister's and I don't mind my mom checking her email or my dad on here to go on ebay...should I get the 35 gallon or largest one? but how could I organize everything in one big box? u put stuff in then eventually everything is on top of each other or getting mixed up?

no they belive me but nothing gets done about it..I'm going the silent route when nobody is home I can go through her stuff. I'm throwing away the sex toys but I will lock up the porn she stole. A very deep room cleaning of my room is in order...probly later tonight I feel ill. haha no way too time consuming and it would start so much drama and fights I would get stressed out and my ibs would get worse...I find it more productive to go the silent way in controlling it...plus I don't want to go to her level
