A fancy dress for about a hundred. I also wore it as a bridesmaid dress once! I'm a cheapo...but I have a LOT of clothes, so it evens out!
Whats The Most Expensive Piece Of Clothing You Have Ever Bought?
06/09/2013
I haven't had a wedding yet or anything, so my corset is my most expensive purchase. My prom dresses were both very cheap, surprisingly. I got them on sale.

For people like Kendra, & sunflower, I started anther discussion covering purses & shoes!
@js250, If they save your life &/or health, it's the best money you ever spent!
I spent way too much money on some gorgeous hand made art wear pieces in Santa Fe from the Santa Fe Weavers Gallery about 15 yrs ago while on vacation with my parents. Real works of art from textile artists which I still wear & just love. The most expensive of them was $3500. It took me a long time to pay off the credit card bill for all the stuff I got! I'm glad I bought all jackets, coats, wraps & scarves because they still fit & always will. That's the nice thing about these pieces, I can see myself wearing them into my old age. And if I don't want them anymore, I can sell them to collectors because they're signed & one of a kind. They are worth more than all my other junk combined, including me!

My nice designer suit was the most expensive. Second place would be the black dress I wear to weddings and events.

Ugh, I get mad when I think about this. Last year, when I was focusing on modeling more than my own photography, I had set something up with a brilliant photographer and the shoot didn't have much supplied, so I bought this Victorian style dress. I wore it for about 20 minutes and it was never fully utilized and it now sits in my room collecting dust. I spend 350$ on it.

You need to get some more pictures of yourself in it! Wow, it must be gorgeous. As long as it still fits, you can always find times to wear it and if not, you can rent it out for shoots or sell it?

A suit for me. I think it was close to $200. I have only worn it a few times.

A leather jacket. Company went under too. Its lasted me 8 years no tears or fades. Good jacket. About 400 retail, got it for 200.

A suit for work and interviews.

The most expensive thing I've ever bought was a coat.
06/19/2013
A dress maybe.

costume or shoes I am not a designer label girl if I like it then I might buy it if I can but I cannot go crazy because I have other things more important things to buy for my kids

One of my coats is about a 100 dollars or so. I suppose if you count my suits as one item instead of two items, then they would be about as much, if not more.

My Wedding Dress definitely and back in 1986 I purchased a beautiful Ivory Tea Length dress with a wide skirt v shaped semi-plunging neckline that sat on my shoulders. It had puffy sleeves and beaded bodice. Oh and a matching wide brim hat with a small veil trailing down the back. All for the wonderful price of $700.

I am fairly certain that the most expensive piece of clothing that I've ever bought is a $175 bra. Before I began shopping online, that was about the standard price that I'd have to pay for one.
