My natural hair has irregular waves to it, so I always straighten it. Takes me about 20 minutes every day, and I guess I don't mind it. The only reason why I don't like it 100% is because of how greasy it gets at the top. Grr!

I have really curly hair. I used to straighten it daily until I started growing it out. It's about the middle of my back now which makes it very time consuming to straighten. I like it long though!

All throughout high school and the beginning of college I would straighten my hair every day. I've since embraced my curls and learned to love them. I like having the option to wear my hair both ways

I have kinky hair and I perm it. I never leave my hair down if it is not in braids then I have pony tails I get all the time.

I have naturally wavy hair. I wear it in layers down to my mid back w/bangs. I barely blow dry it in the morning with a dab of styling lotion and I'm out the door. I do get some subtle highlights from time to time, and get it cut only about once a year or so. More often than not, it's up in a ponytail.
I don't like investing a lot of time in it, but I get more compliments on my hair than anything.

My hair is naturally straight, and I almost always wear it that way. I use a flat iron to smooth my hair and get rid of any little bumps or waves I might get.

If my hair is very short - shoulder length or less - it tends to curl, especially when it's humid. But long like it is now, it's straight.

My hair is thick and curly. I don't straighten it often at all except for my bangs. When I was in highschool I would straighten my hair every once in a while and people would come up to me and say, "You look so pretty! You should do your hair like that every day." Which is kind of a backhanded compliment... Like my regular hair doesn't look good and I'm not pretty otherwise?
I used to hate them but I really like my curls now and I admire people who leave their hair natural. I do wish my hair was straight sometimes but oh well. I think that younger people don't say anything when I had curly hair (except for my undercut), but older middle age and elderly women will come up and compliment me sometimes.

I have naturally curly hair. I hated it when I was young, but I have since embraced it and I really love it. I can straighten it if I want to, but I don't do it regularly because it's time consuming and makes me feel HOT from the straightening iron. Then if I start sweating my hair starts curling up again. LOL

See, I don't know how to answer this. Sometimes it is curly, sometimes it is wavy. Every several years it straightens out naturally. I don't know why.

Wavy. I have a bunch of styling tools, including curling irons and straighteners. Most often I use something that looks like a round brush but is also a hairdryer, not sure what you call it?

Straight hair unless I get caught in the rain. Rain makes is slightly wavy...I wear it straight, it hits the top of my butt and a perm would just be way too much hair!!!

Naturally wavy, but the longer it gets, the curlier it gets. Right now, my hair is buzzed, so there is zero wave to it. I like the idea of my hair, and I know I should appreciate it more, because it's thick, full of body and curl, styles easily, etc.; but I just can't deal with the weight and styling.
I don't like hair in my face, and any sort of pressure on the back of my head or around my ears gives me headaches. Since I'm absolutely inept at styling, I spent most of my time with it in a ponytail, which is about the least flattering look for me. So, let me not say I hate my hair. I hate my inability to appreciate my hair.
But now that I've buzzed it and gone back to my natural color, I'm think of giving another go at the longer styles. Who knows, maybe by then I'll have a little more patience and ability than in my youth.
