Purses and shoes are my faves...I don't even want to think about it.
What's The Most Expensive Shoes Or Purse You've Ever Bought?

That would be my favorite Chanel purse. I had a retire it a few months ago and I'm not sure I will fork up that amount on a purse again.

I don't mind if the person died, I've always thought some of the stock was from estates & that doesn't phase me in the least. I like stuff with a history, I just can't buy most things because of allergies. Anyway, as long as they didn't die from the item I'm looking at, I'm okay with it :p

I normally don't spend a lot of money on shoes or purses. I did, however, buy custom leather boots for about $200, since they'll last me forever.

My expensive stuff all came from consignment too ;-) It's so much nicer!

Shoes, easily. But I've also scored Fendi shoes from consignment shops for less than 70$ that WERE 900.
I have bought a dooney & burke purse for 170, but I also got one similar to it for 10 bucks at consignment shop.
I also have 1 Prada purse (bought for 12 at consignment), and a Coach purse (bought for 7 at consignment).
The cool thing about the Coach purse, I sent it in and had it refurbished and cleaned after I bought it at the consignment shop. It came back like new! I am a purse whore, seriously bad. I bought the Prada, Coach, and one Dooney, all at the same consignment store, in the same day. I LOVE that store though, they only carry the "nicer" stuff.

I agree. Buying a haunted artifact from the Goodwill just really ruins my day.

I think a purse was the most expensive. I don't really buy expensive clothes though. I would rather spend money on an experience and have an awesome memory or perhaps food...really yummy food =D

I see so many different shoes & purses at all price ranges. I never know who pays those higher end prices & I was curious enough to ask
PS, I am not passing judgement on what people want to spend their money on; I figure people have their reasons! I have dropped money on stuff other's didn't "approve" of & I have no time for that nonsense; it's my money, what do they think? I'm a child who doesn't know any better? Anyway, I obviously am not about questioning who pays what for something; I'm just interested & it sounded like a good question to ask. Honestly, I don't really have to know what you like to eat at the fair either, but I also asked that in another poll. less

I'm a cheap date. My prom outfit was all on sale, so I have nothing there. I did get a purse that was about 80 bucks once. I thought it was a really nice purse (leather!!). *shrugs*

I think the most I have spent on a pair of shoes was maybe $70. I definitely just use crappy toes for purses though

my work boots. They were about 250 or so. But they are made here and have lasted 2 years so far. And they still look like they are brand new.

I'm not into shoe shopping or purse shopping. I would say $50 for shoes, and maybe $30 for a purse.
