Spiders and public speaking. Also bleachers or stairways like that where there's a gap between the steps. Most apartment complexes have stairs like that and I hate it.

Lakes, the ocean, rivers. I am so scared of touching things or stepping on things when I can't see what is in the water it just freaks me out. I'm a good swimmer so I'm not afraid of drowning just of something grabbing, biting, pinching or touching me.

Snakes and dead things just creep me right the heck out.

A phobia, by definition is an irrational fear of something that is harmless that interferes with your daily life, not to be confused with fear, which is rational. I wonder what is the most popular one of them all. Mine is spiders, I can't stand them at all... looking at them, dealing with them, having them crawl on me. What's your phobia?

I don't care for heights or closed spaces like small tunnels you would have to crawl through but I wouldn't call them phobias.

Disappointment or failure I think... I dunno if that's a phobia but I'm a touch anal about perfectionism so failing and disappointing people - even if the expectations are only imagined on my end - drives my anxiety through the roof.
