I'm right handed, and quasi-ambidextrous.
What is your dominant hand?

I am right handed... my left hand is pretty much just there for looks I suppose.

I was a lefty that was retrained to right in kindergarten. But now I use both hands for whatever.

I recommend reading this Wiki article to find out more about the negative connotations and about being left-handed in general. For the record, I think it's all a bunch of nonsense to treat left-handed people that way. I mean, really, it's so messed up.

My fiancee and I are both right-handed.

my right hand.
07/22/2011
I'm ambidextrous, but I guess my right hand is more dominant.
07/22/2011
Right handed

I am left handed and left eye dominant. Fortunately when I event to school in the 60's they let me be left handed. I am definitely a right brain dominant person.

Ok. Something weird. Try the eye test with both hands separately. I I do it w my right hand the left eye is dominant but the opposite if I use the other hand. Weird.
07/23/2011
Righty.
07/23/2011
Right.
07/23/2011
My right hand is more dominant, but I can do almost everything with both.

Right handed, but I can write with my feet.
07/23/2011
I'm right handed
08/10/2011
I can write both right and left handed ^^ Though for the majority I'm right handed lol

I'm right handed. Awhile back I injured my right hand, and was actually pretty surprised how much I was able to accomplish with just my left (although I was much slower!)

I'm a righty but my guy is ambidextrous and it drives me crazy! I wish I could do that!
10/16/2011
It really depends on the activity. I write with my right hand and I tend to reach for things with my right but I bowl with my left and I would have to say I drive with more my left hand then my right.

I'm right handed, but my left arm is stronger. Comes with being a waitress, haha. I can do some things with my left hand, though. Once I actually solved an equation writing with my left hand and didn't realize I was writing left handed until I put the pen down. Didn't look half bad, either.

I'm not actually considered ambidextrous, but I do a lot with both hands. I'm primarily right handed, but can use my left hand well. I can write legibly with my it and everything so I chose other. I have a better grip with my left hand than I do my right.

I have read many times that there is an INCREASING number of lefties and decreasing number of righties. That sure does not seem to be the case from the results in your poll here. As for Ambidextrous, there is, scientifically no such thing. Everyone has a dominant side, it is just some people are very proficient using their non dominant hand.

Good observation. Certain hands do get used more in different jobs.

There are still a lot of tools and items in the world that are really designed for a right handed person. He has to find that tough some times.

Left handed by force due to cerebral palsy affecting my whole right side. If I were 'normal' I'd most likely be right handed like the rest of my family.

I'm ambidextrous. Though, I do write better with my Right hand, My Left handed writing is still pretty good. Though Writing with my left hand takes significantly longer.
