Das Experiment was the first German movie that I ever saw, back when I was twelve or thirteen - it was actually the first foreign language film that I saw in the original language (I don't count French films, because I'm Canadian). When I wound up going to Germany a couple years later, I basically started watching Disney movies (because I knew all the words to them) to help me expand my vocabulary a bit, haha. I /was/ not amused when I heard the voice actors for characters I loved (mainly Scar) - I think that they should have just taught Jeremy Irons to speak the 25 languages that it's been translated into flawlessly so that he could continue to be awesome for people around the world. ;P

One of the actors, Moritz Bleibtreu, is really great (he's also starring in the Lammbock movie).
He has another great movie, in German 'The Experiment' which was about a psychological experiment about domination in a prison. less

As far as ridiculousness goes, I also like Japanese and Korean film (though I don't speak those languages), so at least odd German movies probably won't cause me to be randomly grossed out by innocuous objects for years after seeing them.

My husband's name is Ajibayo, or Bayo for short.

A very TMI story involving my disused womanhood (due to a celibate marriage), an over-endowed friend-with-benefits, and his bedsheets. He called me "Chilipepper Girl" after that due to how I artfully bled on his sheet.
(Thank God I don't do that anymore.)
I figured it was a name that NOBODY could associate with me in real life (or my normal online cognomen), and I was in the middle of that FWB affair when I started here. It made sense at the time. I dropped the "Girl" part when I turned 33.

I named myself after one of my favorite literary characters of all time. Bonus points to anyone who can figure out which one!

I've read a few Virginia Woolfe books, but Mrs. Dalloway is not one of them. Honestly, I'm not the hugest fan of her works, but I believe that authors that I don't like can make fantastic characters (because it would be silly to believe otherwise). =)

This is the only place I use mine--it's from the Looney Tunes movie Daffy Duck's Quackbusters, which has always been a favorite of mine.

My initials, the 0, I have no idea why, and 42, because it's The Answer. I only use it here.

Yes, the dub-voices are sometimes really horrible, sometimes they change the meaning completely. I remember god's army 3: The voice of the white angel in the american version sounded like thunder, German dub voice sounded like Boy George.

"Surreptitious" is a word meaning "secret" or "clandestine." I use it in several different places, but it is far from the only handle that I use. It just depends on my mood when I'm creating an account, I suppose. I love words and word games, and generally choose account names that I enjoy saying. less

Mine is in reference to the tattoo I had put on my back last year, just before I joined Eden. It was always something I wanted but was talked out of, almost like the pierced ears I got when I was younger. I was always told I regret it, couldn't be more happier with my decision. My original choice of tattoo's was to be a small yellow rose on my left arm under my sleeve. You can see by my Avatar that the tattoo I finally got is not very small at all. Best of all, hubby helped me pick it out! If that isn't love, I don't know what is!
Oh, and I only use it here because even as my tattoo was new so had my new life started with Eden.

My username means nothing at all... I just like short usernames that vaguely resemble an actual word.

I came up with Chastity Darling as a play on my real name and it is my online persona. I use it with my blog and anything related to my blog (affiliate programs, reviews, etc). I have a fb account, twitter, blog, google profile, and a lot more under my alias

I like your style. I think that the happiest day of my life was when I finally found somewhere that I could use the word "No" for a username. I mean, that is an actual word, but short usernames are fantastic.

This was the post you were talking about! I like it!
My username is my online handle for pretty much everything. It original started out as an OC for MLP:FiM, but then I realized Silverwinds is too badass a name to just be an OC, so I am Sil.

My user name has a couple of stories behind it. Kids used to say Tiana-Tijuana-who smokes the Marijuana! So when I was out and about at parties, if I knew they were short term friends, I'd introduce myself as TJ.
Then, there was this extremely drunk dude at a party, who was wearing a top hat. I snatched it off his head (I was a bit of an asshole back then), and when he turned around to confront me, he went flying off into the side of a building/bush. He didn't get up, so I kept the hat. Then I added, BluBlockers (or whatever they're called) and a cane. I would wear them to certain parties and tended to be the life of the party. So I was called the Mad Hatter. So, I'm TJtheMadHatter.
It's not my private email name, but I use it on all of the websites I am on.

My Username is Hellzapoppin across the boards, I just added the 'Mrs.' for here. It's my favorite movie and it was once my Etsy shop name, so I added it as my middle name on facebook and every one refers to me as so.

Mine is just my first name.

I think there is only one other place I use my Eden Fantasy name, Mostly because the word 'Hentia' roughly translated from Japanese means 'animated porn' and then lover. As you can imagine. this is why I don't use the name many places ^^
