I love to have my one cup of coffee. Then work out, then have a Fiber-Plus bar. Gotta get the fiber in.
What do you eat in the morning?

I've been doing oatmeal in the morning for years. Having a home office is my enabler - when I'm on the road I miss my oatmeal - the hotel instant just isn't as good as old fashioned steel cut.

Weekday mornings, I get up, make coffee, work for a bit then make oatmeal with honey and dried cranberries (yum!) - I usually drink 2 cups of coffee and eat oatmeal every morning while I go through email and get to projects etc. I get kinda cranky when I can't have this routine. I also listen to talk radio, while I work, until mid-afternoon. It's like my work mood-setter. If that makes sense.
I have to be awake for a little while before I can eat though, otherwise it makes me feel sick. less

I add some combination of cranberries, flax, cinnamon, nuts (almonds, pecans or walnuts) - and always chocolate chips! I don't drink coffee so I've gotta get some caffeine in there!

Oh I feel better it's not just me. I'm totally fascinated and getting some really great ideas for breakfast. I'm a girl who eats arrow root biscuits and coffee on the way to work. That would be my third cup by the time I'm driving to work. Can't imagine why I have an ulcer?

I can't eat in the morning, it makes me sick.
I drink 2 cups of coffee and then I have my breakfast a couple of hours after I get up. I usually like to have cold cereal.

I can't do breakfast right off or I'm queasy all day so I make something for work and eat it when I get in. It never involves coffee, it smells awful to me in the morning.
It usually involves homemade yogurt+thick rolled oats+local organic honey, homemade bread of some kind, bagel, english muffin+sunbutter, homemade scone or a bowl of Bob's Red Mill 10 grain cereal with a small spoonful or organic jam mixed in.
Weekends are a throwdown of eggs, hash browns, homemade biscuits, sausage or bacon or, if I'm feeling like making something a little more involved, I'll made a strata or rattlesnake eggs, a signature for years that everyone loves that I've shared the recipe with. Horribly unhealthy, but so freaking good.

I get home from work at 9 am. 2 bowls of oatmeal or yogurt and meal replacement protein powder. Or both, usually. And a six pack of light beer if I had a bad night. Then a shower, 2 hours sleep, check my mail, take a shower and a quick workout and back to the job for the next 13 or 15 hours. My body pretty much runs on a lot of high protein food and adrenalin. I don't drink coffee to wake up, I take arginine, niacin, etc.

Just to point this out:
It's kind of amusing and interesting to hear how some people find coffee to be revolting in the mornings, while some like me--coffee is the one smell that WAKES me up in the morning!

I cant eat first thing in the morning. I have to be up and moving for a few hours before I can eat anything.

It varies. Something usually under 100 kcal, but enough to absorb my vitamins and coat my stomach so that I don't end up getting nauseous from my various medicines. Usually 1-2 tbsp of oatmeal and half a piece of fruit.

I usually have no breakfast, but sometimes I will eat whatever the kids at the daycare have around 10am.

I, personally, like to have coffee and maybe a small bowl of cereal. If I wake up really hungry I have a larger bowl.
I like light, refreshing types of breakfasts. I don't like a huge slab of pancakes or anything that's really heavy feeling. Eggs are nice sometimes, but I'm "ehh" about warm breafasts. I prefer cold, so that's why I really love cereal.
Anyone? less

I usually have egg in a basket, or a grilled cheese and egg sandwich. If there is bacon in the fridge (rarely) I make brown sugar bacon. Mmmmm...
Oh yeah, can't eat until I take my thyroid pill and wait half an hour. :/
