The Whiny Thread

Ugggh, I only got 2 hours of sleep. Also, my tooth hurts.

Feel free to vent your own frustrations below. Sometimes you just need a place to complain.

I don't know why I like the idea of this thread so much...

My printer broke yesterday and I need to print a cover letter for a job application. >.<

I had a nightmare that Willy Lopez was taking over the world and me and a gang of my friends were packing and running for the woods while he chased us with guns...

I watched Ghost and ate leftover birthday cake yesterday...

My husband called and said he found a chip in the window of his newer car! Have to call the insurance company and see what they say. We have full coverage since we're still paying the loan off, but we don't want the little chip to turn into a big crack in the window.

*pout*

I have had a flare up of eczema for months, it is peaking again, right now.

I also discovered that our dogs have... fleas! I saw two on my.... (OMG) hand while I was on my laptop on the couch yesterday. I also have fucking flea bites on my ankles and they hurt like hell (I'm allergic to flea bites!) I asked both my husband and my middle daughter to PLEASE use the Frontline we have to treat the dogs... nobody did anything. So, now, despite my DOG allergies, I have to not only treat these dogs, but try some essential oils (I started with cedar, peppermint and tea tree) on the furniture and hope we get rid of the fucking things. Otherwise, I have to use something stronger, you can't let those things breed, they can make you very sick. I HATE vermin!

And, I'm itching all over and the idea that those fleas are around is making me sick.

Pathetic woman.

Being an adult and being responsible for having to take care of this crap really stinks sometimes.

My girlfriend is out of the country this entire week.

My boss hasn't approved my vacation, even though I haven't taken a day off since 2010.

I have a $3000+ hospital bill from when I recently had to go to the ER for a dislocated shoulder, right after I just got out from under all the debt from being married.

Whine!

It's now April 30th, why the hell do I have to keep the fire burning. It's freakin cold still! Where the hell is spring! Might have to send Mother Nature a support ticket.

I was so excited that my little one slept in because I could go back to sleep, only to find that she wet the bed. Ugh.

I can't sleep, toss and turn. Was comfortable but nothing was happening so I got on here. Been trying to sleep since 5am.
Just had foot surgery a few weeks ago and I recently am allowed to take my casting boot off while I sleep. In a half asleep daze I got up to get a drink and stupidly put both feet down hard and fast on the floor, talk about pain! I'm not supposed to walk/stand/put pressure on the foot for another 3 weeks!
My throat and ear also hurts dammit.
I'm also sick of not being able to drive or walk, I'm bored and becoming depressed stuck at home. I also want to get a job! I just got my bachelor degree in the mail from graduation a month ago and I want to get out there and get a job so I can save to make a down payment on a place with my fiance so I can get the heck out of my mom's house which my grandma lives here too. I want privacy and independence!
Thanks for the topic, I wanted to whine to someone lol!

(wow, I didn't realize how much I needed to whine)

And...

the house is a wreck again. Mr did really annoying things to piss me off this weekend. My body is just ripped to shreds (and not in the good way) from some really great partying this weekend (not complaining about the partying, just that I'm so old now that I can't do it without major wear and tear). Last but not least, I'm ready for this tattoo to be healed because I want to go swim laps again.

Is this something that happens frequently? Good Nites has put out these really awesome pads that just stick the sheet or mattress and then you can pull it and the sheets off without worrying about trying to dry the bed.

First world problems:

- I don't have any milk for my coffee and it's my fault because I didn't put it on the list. (I'm the only one that likes milk in coffee around here.)

- I want a pair of shoes that I just absolutely cannot justify purchasing

- I want to go see Kathy Griffin live, but I can't justify that either.

Boo!

I'm sorry. Been there. Extra sleep often means pee pee laundry.

I'm sorry everyone has something to whine about.

At least we have the support here.

I LOVE Rich World Problems website. My kid turned me on to it this weekend.

More whining; I don't have to work today. I have to bring a prescription to the pharmacy, but I'm too lazy to get dressed and outside. Rich World, Lazy Woman Problems....

I miss being able to sleep in, now even if i want to I automatically wake up early ( yay for becoming a mom who wakes up to any noise) I have a rebelious 3 yr old (who i love dearly) but seriously tired of hearing the wor NO and the phrese " I don't want to mommy". My house looks like a tornado has been through it but I really don't want to get up and clean.
O and everything I wanted to buy on EF is currently sold out right when I get enough to get stuff. grrrr

Hahaha thanks for pointing that out to me, I'd never heard of it. It's so funny! (And true! hmph)

We used to have a saying on a different internet forum "first world problems, just sayin'" when someone would complain about something stupid and trivial.

I can't think of a decent not-too-complex plot to write a short story for.
I haven't been able to draw in weeks.

The Supreme Court just squashed activists appeal to have Lucy the elephant moved from the Edmonton Zoo where she's doing really poorly, alone and cold in Canada to a great spacious and warm sanctuary where she could have friends.

Lucy is worse off than me, so I thought I'd whine about her life instead.

My mom sold our house before we were able to find a new place. We have to move out by the end of the month, right around my finals, and right before our vacation. And there's a concert in San Francisco I want to see but can't.

No! Going to see Kathy Griffin live is a justification in itself. She's awesome.

I have heartburn so bad that not only did it wake me up twice last night (after I had taken my prescription heartburn pill AND chugged down some pepto-bismol), but for a while it make me think I was going to throw up. So of course I started crying.

At almost 8 months pregnant, I don't want to go to work anymore (it's too exhausting), but I don't want to sit at home bored off my ass, either.

I'm in the midst of finals and I have way too much to do. Can't I just sleep? Can't I?

Also, my body has decided to get sick at the worst of times. Way to go, body.

I will have just gotten back from a somewhat expensive out of town trip. And there's another show I want to see two weeks later...so...I don't know. The chances of me seeing Kathy Griffin when she comes to town next year or whenever are more likely than the artist we want to see ever being in concert again. So the trip and that show cancel out KG.

A probably cheaper version is to pop into a pharmacy that deals a lot with seniors and grab their reuseable bed thingie. It's a square thingie you put underneath your fitted sheet and will absorb all leaks and prevent mattress stainage. And as an added bonus, if you've a daughter, it doesn't stain if blood gets on it.

The disposable ones (the blue backing with the gauze like topping) we found don't absorb as well, and do have to be changed frequently.
