For decor I'd prefer some type of cool looking plastic or cloth curtain, but those tend to be annoying to me. We have two bathrooms, an upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs has glass sliding doors, which I prefer because they don't stick to me while I shower. The one upstairs has plastic on the inside with a nice cloth on the outside, but it's annoying. The tub/shower is entirely too small for me to have them and I wish we could replace them with sliding doors too. I'm a tiny person, but because I have shoulder issues, I have to maneuver in a wide area especially for hair washing, so it can be a pain when my arms stick to the plastic. It's not that it really does anything other that just irritate me to have that feeling, but I just don't like it. At my old house, we had a much wider tub, so I didn't mind the plastic liner then.

What type of shower door/curtain do you prefer?

I have a plastic shower drapes with butterflies over some of my windows lol. It keeps my dogs from constantly barking at everything they see. It also keeps the people next door to us from seeing when people are in the shower.

Glass sliders are the best!

Glass sliding doors are awesome but we're stuck with your usual shower curtain.

Doors of any kind. I hate curtains!

I detest drapes. They attract bacteria and mold and you can't. Clean. It. Ever! You have to rip it down and get a new one, which is wasteful and doesn't prevent the original problem.

As a renter I don't have a whole lot of flexibility

Love glad, but we have curtains

I hate shower curtains! They are super difficult to clean, and therefore are usually way more disgusting than necessary. The one in my shower comes at me after a few minutes in the shower because the cold air is pushing it inward at the bottom.

Fabric curtains. I was a fan of glass sliding doors until I had to clean the track of one. It involved hands, knees and scrubbing with a toothbrush. I prefer something I can pull off the rod and dump in the washing machine.

That's what we're going to do with our next bathroom reno. It's already popular in other parts of the world and I think it will be huge here in a few years.
