A hallmar is a landmark stone is Scandinavia - usually a boulder that's rolled down the side of a mountain or fjord. The rock is usually on the beach or in shallow water, and the waves wash and break around the stone. Essentially it's a metaphor for resilience against the turmoil of life. The 82 is from 1982 - great year.

Staceejaxxx is not my real name. Guess y'all knew that. I got this name off the musical Rock of Ages. It was used as a man's name but I thought it was sexy. So I then added an extra "x".

If you can find a copy of the book "Dazzling Brightness" by Roberta Gellis it retells the most popular myth of Persephone from a what if the Gods were more like men and women but powerful. It is a stunning and beautiful retelling. It is very close to the myth that my teacher taught me. I am a devotee of the devouring mother/absent child Goddesses, right now especially since that is what my family situation is.
At any rate it is a lovely book and a great retelling of the Kore/Persephone myth.

When I created my name, I didn't think too hard because I didn't realize there was so much to this site. So the first thing that came to mind was that I love leather products (lingerie, boots, jackets, etc) so that became my name.

People think that I named myself after that erotic film when in fact I have yet to see it. I'm a bit anxious, 'cause what will I do if I hate it?

I've used WildOrchid for years for all the sex writing. It started when my Dad (yes, you read right) was showing us funny clips/images he got in an e-mail. For some reason he didn't exclude a clip of somebody painting an orchid that then starts moving and you notice it's painted over a pussy. I was nearing 17 and preparing an informational website about female masturbation. I already had a screen name but it was Tolkien-themed. I couldn't use that one for that new, flirtatious sex geek persona I was developing. After seeing the clip I knew I had to be an Orchid. To make it less common (and reduce the number of situations when I had to add silly numbers after it to register on sites) I added Wild.

Recently I stumbled upon the porno that orchid-painting came from. It's called Zazel and apparently it's a classic.

When I first signed up I wanted Spelunker, thinking I could make a few sexual innuendos out of it, but that was taken, so I went with Splunker, but I just couldn't live with the inaccurate spelling, so I jumped back on my laptop a few hours after logging off (because spelling is one of the things that really can't wait) and changed it to the slightly less illustrious Cave Diver.
