Baked in the oven, the original way. Not nuked in the micro, then baked for a few minutes, but 100% oven baked, 45 - 60 minutes, crispy skin and all, just like Mom used to make!!

Voted for baked -- but that's because making fries out of them wasn't an option. That's mostly all I use potatoes for anymore (with seasoning, etc :9)

Love 'em mashed!

Baked is good with butter, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and maybe some pork barbecue with sauce.

Stewed/creamed potatoes are good too. Not to mention homemade french fries. Mmm...

But I really dislike scalloped and au gratin.

Yes, I have literally just eaten mashed potatoes for a meal as a comfort food when feeling crappy.
Same here! Mashed potatoes with butter and cheese are my #1 comfort food.
