When we end up traveling it's usually by driving our car. If we were going somewhere farther than a few states away we'd probably take a train or a plane.
Planes, trains, or automobiles

Ill stay on the ground thanks. I do Loooove road trips too!

I wish I could teleport, but I prefer planes--they're the fastest, and I like getting to where I'm going the quickest, so I can enjoy being there!

Trains quite often cost less than a plane ticket or gas for driving, but can take days longer than driving to get there.
So how do you prefer to travel long distances? I'm talking the pack up and go on vacation like, 3 states over, or the other side of the country type things. Feel free to share the reasoning behind your thinking as well less

Flying used to be fun, but now it gives me the screaming heebejeebees. I would still do it, but a lot of the fun is gone. I voted for train travel because I love steam trains and have never gotten to travel a long distance in a train of any sort.

traveling in all the ways!

I prefer flying for long distances. Much faster than trains or cars. I get carsick and tend to go stir crazy on road trips. I like to be able to run around and stretch

I'm a fan of a road trip (IF I have a reliable car!!) But I don't mind flying that much. Come Saturday morning I'll be on a plane to Cali for a fun little weekend trip!!
02/27/2013
All of them are good in their own ways, I don't have any real preference.

Flying, public transportation, or driving.

Train... Takes longer, but you're not forced to stay in one seat forever.

I prefer driving. Flying is alright, too, but the layovers take forever, and it's more stressful for me. I feel like I have more agency when driving.
02/27/2013
I like trains because they don't make me ill (like cars and planes do).

cross country, i would rather plan a couple extra days and take a train. they rarely crash; and, if they do, it's not from 30,000ft. short distances, i would like train or car. i would always rather it be a train...but, if we want to travel once we get where we are going, we wither need to drive or rent a car when we get there. rather drive and save the money on the rental. but, it just depends. regardless, i'd rather stay on the ground whenever possible.

i also put "other," because i love to ride my bike long distances. so, i would always rather bike it...if it were safer to ride on the roads with all of these crazy drivers. people really think they own the roads. i hate that. be curtious, people! jesus.

driving is my preference
03/03/2013
Car ride. It's what I'm most comfortable with because I've never flown and I've only been on a train once.
03/03/2013
I prefer to fly, if it's a long-distance trip.
03/03/2013
Trains are really nice, up to the point where I'm on them overnight. I can't get any sleep, so it just becomes a miserable experience.
05/12/2013
If it's a long distance, flying so that there's more time to see the sites when I get there.
05/12/2013
I love to fly, plus there are places you can't reach by car or train that you can flying. It is quick and I can go anywhere in the world.
05/12/2013
oooooo teleport1
but otherwise, driving.
but otherwise, driving.

I like flying a lot, but depending on the situation driving can be preferable if I want my own transportation once there.
05/13/2013
I'd love a teleporter, but planes or trains are the best for me.
05/13/2013
I hate driving!!!!! Planes are kind of annoying but America doesn`t have nice trains which I just love. OMG Spanish trains are great
05/13/2013
All of them.. cause the movie rocks.
I prefer the quickness of planes, but airports give me crazy anxiety.
