My cat is a very good, quiet, and calm girl. But, if I am petting her and it irritates her and I don't notice her glances/signals to me, she will then slightly bite me hand to make me stop. But, that's it.

I went to Florida last month for a week. My mom took care of the cat and the fish while we were gone. She said every time she came over my cat would run to the door, see it was her, and run away, which is strange since she normally doesn't care who pays attention to her. Once I got home she drove me absolutely insane, demanding constant attention and even biting me right on the nose! I mean, it was clearly deliberate. She walked up to me while I was lying in bed and took my entire nose in her mouth and chomped down. It wasn't hard enough to draw blood but it still hurt!

When I'm away from them for more than a few days my dogs get pissed and will ignore me completely for a couple of days unless I'm feeding them.

I am in the same boat, my cats live with my mom and I moved out. Since then they have acted out in a multitude of ways. When I first enter the house only miss kitty might greet me and then only if the house is empty. On occasions where I visited the house and didn't make an appropriate effort to find and fuss over miss kitty she has made her displeasure known by snubbing me or acting out, I usually wont even see mister kitty unless I stay for a couple of hours

a couple of weeks ago miss kitty ate some kitty litter so that she could vomit it up in the hall and get attention that way
Last week she made a damned good effort of ignoring me from my lap
I sat down she walked into the room, stared away from me for a few minutes and then left a few times, each time getting a little closer, until finally she jumped on my lap, turned around and perched on my legs facing away from me. I could pet her but she wasn't about to look at me or cuddle

I have a parrot who has bonded to me. Fortunately, unlike many parrots, she is kind to everyone else, but when I don't make her enough attention, she bites me. I have scars all over my body from her.

Because I'm away at college, I go quite some time without seeing my rabbit. All through high school I was with him every morning and evening. When I started college, I'd go home, but he'd want nothing to do with me. His eyes get wide and he backs up really far into his cage, like he's shunning me. Luckily, though, we had a lot of time over Christmas break!

Yes, pets can get upset and angry a their owners, especially if they have a strong attatchment and something in the environment changes.

I have two pekingese. When I came home from the hospital after having my son, they were upset with me. They wouldn't look at me, they wouldn't play with me, they didn't want to be in the room with me. They ignored the baby, which surprised me, I thought they'd be interested. I guess they were just grouchy about me being gone for four days - and having been home in labor for three days before that.
Maybe they thought I died. I know from the noises I was making, that probably seemed likely. haha

I have a cat, he's mad at me most of the time. If we have to leave him with somebody for a while, he's usually upset but he'll be really sweet as soon as we bring him home, probably because he's worried we'll abandon him again.

I'm a crazy cat lady - I'll gladly admit, too.
But, when they are mad at me, a few of them think peeing in the house is a good way to get back at me.

Rabbits do that too, they are very territorial.

The worst my rabbit has done is chew things she knows she isn't supposed to. But it's hard to stay angry at her for very long, she is the most cutest cuddliest thing ever!

My cat pooped on the bed out of revenge, which was horrible.

When I was about 7, I forgot to feed my gerbils. When I say that I forgot to feed them, I'm not talking about a few days here. I'm talking about a few hours. They decided the situation was desperate enough to resort to cannibalism and ate their babies. I guess that's not really anger, but I was pretty devastated.

Definitely yes. My poodle expects us to take him along wherever we go, if we tell him he has to stay home, he'll immediately change from his all waggy and happy mode to total disappointment. He'll sit at the stair landing in silent protest and turn his head away from us.

I have 2 dogs. One is somewhat emotional and doesn't so much get angry, more like she acts like her feelings are hurt.

Hey! A fellow parrot owner! My parrot is the only pet I've seen be hurt or mad at me for something I did. (I own mammals too, but the parrot is by far the most prone to this sort thing out of all of them.)

One night as I was putting her to bed, for some strange reason I wanted to check my brand new cordless drill that had been charging. So I picked it up and turned it on. It was quite loud and also has a bright light that turns on. (Obviously in her bedroom at bedtime was not the best place for this test of mine - stupid human.) It made her very mad, she gave me what for and each time I tried to come over and say goodnight and give her a goodnight kiss (like we always do) she turned her head away and grumbled angrily at me under her breath. She forgives quickly though, and by morning all was forgotten!

We had a cat that was very close to my mom before he died and if we went on vacation for even just a couple of days he would get so mad at her. He would ignore her if she fed him he wouldn't touch it so I have to feed him, if she came into a room he was in he would go somewhere else after she went to sleep he would bite her feet lol. It would take almost a week of her being back and kissing his furry butt for him to stop being upset. He was so cute but also a huge drama king
