I'm very friendly and good with people, but sometimes I'd just rather be alone. . I also think most people are a mixture of both, depending on the situation.

I'm ambivert - it depends on the situation, the environment, and the people around me.

I love being around people who love to have fun.But some days is just get the hell out my face

Im definately an introvert - except online.
10/16/2010
I vacillate between the two. It really depends on circumstances and the people involved.
10/16/2010
With me, it really depends on who I'm around. I'm more comfortable with some people than others and that really shows in the way I act in a given situation.

I'm mainly an introvert.

I am absolutely an introvert, although I'm trying hard to explore the other side.

Total introvert. I still get out a lot, but I find it exhausting and need multiple hours of designated "Prax time" every day.

I have taken the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator three or four times and have continually scored as an INFJ (I am a perfect split between Perceiving and Judging, but in the event that you "tie," the standard is to go with J - Judging). But regarding the Introvert/Extrovert dichotomy, I am about as pure of an Introvert as they come. My score for the I (introversion) was extremely high while my score for E (extroversion) was practically non-existent. Despite this, I am not exactly a monk and no one has ever considered me shy when they meet me. I have no problem talking with strangers and am very friendly and outgoing with people in my day-to-day life.
Info about introverts/extroverts:
"The preferences for extraversion and introversion are often called as attitudes. Briggs and Myers recognized that each of the cognitive functions can operate in the external world of behavior, action, people, and things (extraverted attitude) or the internal world of ideas and reflection (introverted attitude). The MBTI assessment sorts for an overall preference for one or the other.
People who prefer extraversion draw energy from action: they tend to act, then reflect, then act further. If they are inactive, their motivation tends to decline. To rebuild their energy, extraverts need breaks from time spent in reflection. Conversely, those who prefer introversion expend energy through action: they prefer to reflect, then act, then reflect again. To rebuild their energy, introverts need quiet time alone, away from activity.
The extravert's flow is directed outward toward people and objects, and the introvert's is directed inward toward concepts and ideas. Contrasting characteristics between extraverts and introverts include the following:
* Extraverts are action oriented, while introverts are thought oriented.
* Extraverts seek breadth of knowledge and influence, while introverts seek depth of knowledge and influence.
* Extraverts often prefer more frequent interaction, while introverts prefer more substantial interaction.
* Extraverts recharge and get their energy from spending time with people, while introverts recharge and get their energy from spending time alone." less

I had a split of 12/8 of Introvert to Extrovert, so I guess I'm more of an Introvert, but I voted Ambivert & think that's a good description.

I am extremely extroverted. It gets me in trouble sometimes
03/12/2013
Ambivert (somewhere in the middle of extroversion and introversion)
03/12/2013
In the middle
03/12/2013
People make me happy and excited. Alone I'm boring and sad.
03/12/2013
I'm an introvert. I actually like social situations, but I feel overstimulated and exhausted if they go on too long.
03/12/2013
I range from being in the middle to being introverted. I for the most part enjoy being alone, with my immediate family, or my boyfriend. I don't like huge crowds or huge parties unless I know most of the people there and feel comfortable. I'll never be the person who is fly by the seat of my pants, partying, sleeping around, staying at peoples homes I don't know, that would be an awesome life and god bless those who can do that. But just thinking about stuff like that makes me exhausted and then i just want to curl up on my bed and read a book or watch a tv show.

I am VERY much an introvert.

Very extrovert.

A bit of both, just depends on the mood I'm in
03/15/2013
Typically more introvert.
03/16/2013
It really depends on the day and the people I'm around. I can be a complete extrovert/life of the party at times and sometimes I feel super shy!
03/18/2013
Introvert for the most part but I don't enjoy being alone ALL the time.
03/19/2013
I am a TOTAL extrovert. Like 110%. I can handle being on my own, and reflecting and what not, but I love to share my thoughts and ideas and stories and totally thrive off connections with others!
