Yes and it was horrific! My mother went to school for medical sciences, so she taught me with a text book. I unfortunately had my first period when I was 10, shortly after learning about it in school, so I knew what it was and the other stuff. My mother gave me the rest of the information for a text book. Not so much the sex part, or I blocked it out.

Oddly enough I'm a very private person this way when it comes to face to face talking. I don't want to know if another girl is on her cycle, I'm really not interesting in their sex life or anything like this. Men talking with each other about their sex life bothers me less, maybe because it's often bragging and not details, but I tend to tune it all out anyway. less
