i think both are beautiful. I dont think someone with pale skin is ugly because they choose not to tan. and the same goes for a tan person. its a personal preference. if they are comfortable in their own skin.. that makes them beautiful

true that. Though I personally prefer pale mostly cause I'm one of those hot red head ginger girls with super pale skin. Often called a vampire lol.

I don't like the tanned look at all. Being orange doesn't look natural. I am about as pale as it gets. I like pale skin. It's beautiful.

I'm for natural tanning to an extent, but natural is always hot to me.

I would like to have a bit of color, but I don't really go out into the sun. Staying cancer-free is a bit higher of a priority than having a tan.

I don't like being as pale as I am, but I'm scared of tanning. lol.

I'm naturally darker than my partner, I prefer to be more tan personally but I don't use tanning beds or any sort of spray/cream. On other people, I don't really care, skin tone/color doesn't effect my attraction to people.

Pale. I had skin cancer by the age of 16 and I never even fake tanned. Tanning is too dangerous

Freckled, so I don't tan, I burn. I never liked the freckles multiplying whenever I got too much sun as a kid.

Now I'm quite pale even with freckles, and translucent skin that shows my veins. I'm rather surprised by how pale I am whenever C and I are limb-entangled - he's naturally darker (he's quite a bit Cherokee) and I'm practically a ghost compared to him. People have joked that I glow under black light.

Funny thing, though, is that I don't think I'm pale enough. I want that lovely flawless lily white of Lestat in "Queen of the Damned".

i like white. i like ethnic. i like natural either way. i like tan either way as well. but i would rather have natural...if that's tan, so be it. meaning, if you are in the sun a lot and get tan...great. if you go to the tanner to get darker because it's trendy...that's odd. no need. rather be pail.

...I know exactly what you mean. It's like you get a half hour of sun and suddenly you turn into a dalmatian-human hybrid. =_=;
Honestly, I've been looking at natural skin lighteners to get rid of some of my more annoyingly obvious freckles.
