I'd have to say talking about vomit.
Not While I'm Eating!

Nothing can disgust me while I'm eating. The only way to disgust me from my plate is to make me angry or really sad.
Sometimes, I get really hungry while I'm embalming people at school, because we share the ventilation with the cafeteria, and we get those yummy snifs of cream chicken soup and big chocolate chips cookies, it's amazing. But embalming disgusted me from some foods too, mostly uncooked pepperoni or very strong mint toothpaste(does that count as food?).

We pretty much talk about whatever when we eat....back in the day we used to watch those hospital shows where they have surgery and stuff while we ate dinner! LOL

There is nothing anyone can say that will gross me out while I'm eating. There is, however, this particular sound that my husband makes (sort of a hybrid snort/throat-clearing/ gulping/NOISE) that absolutely drives me insane! It always makes me think of someone choking (even though it sounds nothing like it), and no matter how much I tell him to knock it off, he still breaks it out every now and then, just to see me freak out.

It's weird. It all depends on how I'm feeling and what I'm eating. Some days I can handle gross things and others I just have to tell someone to shut up or turn the channel or whatever. Visually seeing something gets me more. I also can't be near when someone is using the restroom (peeing I can handle) or getting sick or I will lose my appetite. Recently the cat decided to come vomit right out in the middle of the floor in perfect view while we were eating...I was done after hearing and seeing that!

I'm easily squeamish.

yes, I hate it when people bring up gross things when I'm eating, ug. It won't make me bark or anything, but I don't like thinking about it.

Nothing really grosses me out while I'm eating.

I'm not really bothered by any conversation that involves any of the topics listed while I'm eating.

I've not easily grossed out. I've watched horribly gory horror movies while eating without a problem. There's only two things I don't want while eating:
- Visuals of vomiting.
- Talk or visuals of genital problems, like, um, a certain waffle incident.

Puke, boogers, blood, guts, spiders and poop are definitely ALL off limits for me. I have enough problems holding food down normally with my gastrointestinal issues, and I don't need any unnecessarily gross conversations to make things worse.

Nothing gross!

I'm not really bothered by any of them. I mean, bowel movements bugs me a little bit, but not much,.

nothing bothers me, i tend to be quite foul.

A few of these. A friend told me a story involving maggots while I was cooking food last week, I pretty much lost my appetite for a few days.

Hospital stories! My sister in law is a nurse and she shares stories at holiday dinners that are...well....inopprop riate to say the least.

vomit is a HELL NO

Talking about anything is fine bbut watching something on TV that includes some of those topics like vomit is not cool.

There is nothing that can stop my family from eating... they have tried and I have gotten used to it...

I'm a nurse in the ER nothing bothers me anymore

nothing is off limits with us. I'm a nurse and he was an EMT..so our dinner discussions were always an open field. Our kids grew up hearing all about the guts, blood, and other facts of life!
