I used to like Luigi, but then I started to feel like he was just there so people who want to play as Mario but felt that would be too obvious could choose him, so I switched to Mario

Peach is the typical 2D female character who gets kidnapped. Mario & Luigi are goofs. Toad is little more than a prop. But, Yoshi is a blast!

I'm surprised you didn't include Bowser, Donkey Kong, Wario, etc. There are so many other characters.

I honestly couldn't pick one. And there's so many great ones that aren't mentioned that I love as well. Bowswer, Geno and Smithy (Super Mario RPG), Princess Daisy, Donkey Kong...Almost 25 and still playing video games as much as I can. Love it.
